The little pampered mobile home is not fancy but it's oh so peaceful and relaxing to sit by the pond or just relax on the big deck and view the hundred year old farmstead. Drive past the host's house about 1500' down a maintained gravel road and you're there! You'll have your own campfire site complete with firewood and stumps to sit on or enjoy the covered pier over the pond...it has a fan to keep it breezy!

Step back into time in our custom Covered Wagon! Fully furnished with modern amenities as full bathroom with shower, refrigerator, kitchenette, table for 2, queen bed, add full mattress available for 2 additional guest, mini split, outdoor seating, campfire, trails, lake, fishing, lake beach and farm animals. 1883 is great to relax, enjoy the animals, fish, paddle board, bike ride, fire pit night and even cook a nice steak! Early morning coffee on your private deck listening as nature awake.

Bring the whole family to our place with lots of room for fun. Located in Calvert Texas, we are 30 minutes from College Station, 1 hour to Waco. Bring girlfriends, kids, hunting buddies and stay with us. We offer plenty of parking for larger vehicles and trailers. We are a farming/ranching family. We have squeaky floors and faded clean carpet. Bath is shared with your guest only. We do have “spotty country internet” enough to do work, but might not be strong enough to support 3 tv’s.
