The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Oak Hill Retreat

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Lil’ Kickback on Elk Creek (Eau Claire area)

Remote, tranquil, quiet and private getaway on 5.8 acres on the banks of the Elk Creek; only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities! This creek is known as a class 1 trout stream. Guests can enjoy fishing, sight seeing, canoeing and kayaking the Chippewa River or Elk Lake, biking, hiking, atv/utv and snowmobile trails nearby as well. Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. This is a beautiful rustic cabin that has been beautifully restored. Permit issued and inspected by Dunn County.

The Nordic Nest- a unique getaway!

Enjoy the spa-like bathroom and unwind on the beautiful covered outdoor patio surrounded by stunning wooded views. Perfect for relaxation, the Nordic Nest is a rejuvenating escape. The Nordic-inspired home is located 1/2 mile to the Red Cedar Trail and the quaint small town of Downsville, yet 6 miles south of Menomonie.

Elk Creek Inn Historic Dam Keepers Cottage

Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.

Echo Point | Historic Lakeside Cabin

Echo Point's guest cabin is a unique and tranquil getaway perched on the edge of the water with a grand view of Tainter Lake, about an hour east of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. This renovated cabin - originally built in the 1950's atop a boathouse - provides guests the feeling of being in the trees overlooking the lake. It is the perfect getaway to unwind in nature. Please note: We do not allow parties or pets, and the property isn't suitable for those with mobility challenges (stairs)

Red Fern Cabin on Elk Creek

This cabin is nestled on the banks of Elk Creek. The creek wraps around the entire property and is a Class 1 trout stream. The camp site is secluded and private. There is a tri-pod for cooking. It is solar powered and has a gas fireplace. It comes equipped with a full size mattress in loft and a full size futon. No linens/pillows are provided, so be sure to pack your own. No running water inside cabin but solar powered lights. Site utilizes a composting toilet. Dunn County Licensed

Broken Willow Bungalow

This cute barn-like bungalow sits at the end of a 2-mile winding river road surrounded by nature. The Chippewa River is within walking distance to fish, kayak or just relax on the banks. You will find three bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, Living room, and sunroom on the main level. Climb the century old steep and narrow ladder-like steps to 1 more bedroom, a play room and access to the roof top deck. Feel free to bring your well-behaved dog(s) to our pet friendly home.

Barstow Cottage

This 19th century cottage is renovated with architectural elements to bring back its history. Backyard is meant for inviting family and friends. Stroll 3 blocks behind cottage & walk along river to see Eau Claire's oldest lumber mansions. At south end of downtown, you're close to everything - shops, food, nightlife! Note: If you're visiting Mayo for MEDICAL staying 7 days, we discount $125 off total. (need proof of clinic visit, Thank you)

The Keep at Pleasant Valley | Country Retreat

Rest easy in our handcrafted country retreat just 15 minutes from Eau Claire and 35 minutes from Cadott. Sip your coffee by the fire in the morning and listen to the crickets sing as you watch the stars come awake in the evening. The Keep features a full kitchen with custom hickory and cedar cabinetry, in floor heat for chilly nights, and a large private patio—perfect for grilling out or roasting s’mores.
