Located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, off the A9 & NC500 route, this well equipped space is situated in a family garden with off road parking. The self contained building boasts, a double (UK standard) bedroom, shower room and kitchen/diner/sitting area. Large patio doors lead out to the decked area in the garden. 35 miles north of Highland capital Inverness.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Croft cottage, 334 Kinnauld, refurbished in 2021 is situated in the heart of the Highlands, a 5 minute drive from A9 and North Coast 500 route. 50 miles north of the Highland capital Inverness and a 15-minute drive to Dornoch. The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

Designed as a playful cross between a Zen tea house and Highland hunting lodge, Assich Zen Lodge is a luxury log cabin with Zen garden, created within the grounds - and using many of the stones - of an ancient ruined byre. It offers truly unique, romantic and luxurious accommodation in beautiful and tranquil surroundings, where guests can enjoy stunning panoramic views of mountain, sea, forest and castle, with exclusive use of large decked area, wood-fired hot-tub, sauna and fire pit.

Cute wee shepherd's hut in a tranquil spot

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a peaceful orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.

One bedroom apartment in Dornoch, Scotland

With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

Quirky Highland Cottage with Stunning Views

Enjoy the glorious Highland scenery and sample the local whiskies from this quirky little stone built cottage. Set across the road from a working farm, you'll be able to enjoy seeing the livestock grazing against the glorious backdrop of the Kyle of Sutherland. The cottage itself is over 100 years old and retains many of its original features - the panelling, doors, fireplaces and fixtures, giving a timewarp sensation to your stay.

Charming and Unique Shepherd's Hut

A unique and beautiful Shepherd's Hut on the Black Isle. Specifically commissioned by Black Isle Brewery, the hut is in the middle of our organic brewery farm. The brewery sits on one side with organic farmland, farmhouse and vegetable patch on the other. You are 10 minutes from Inverness by car and 20 minutes from Inverness airport.
