This is a cozy little apartment in a great location. I was in town on business and decided to try out an airbnb instead of the usual hotel option. It was great to be in a fun neighborhood instead of a business park. The lack of hotel amenities was made up for by the proximity to local coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants, and the studio provided everything I needed for the limited amount of time I spent there.
The one thing I would advise about this place is that it can be a bit tricky to find. I arrived after dark and had to drive around the block a few times to figure out exactly where it was. There is off-street parking (huge plus!), but the street number is not very easy to see, and the apartment is actually attached to a larger house (but with it's own private entry door).
Other reviews mentioned the construction next door, which I can confirm does start around 7 a.m. (Tuesday - Thursday at least). Fortunately for me, that was right around the time my day was getting started. If I wanted to sleep any later, I probably would have been out of luck.
Overall, I was very happy with the apartment, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for prime location and walkability around La Jolla Shores.
