Set in medieval cathar countryside - old stone bergerie. Double bedroom on 1st floor with beautiful view over the terrace to the glorious noble hill called Nitable. Will be cold in the autumn winter spring. Shower/bathroom en suite.
Or you can have another bedroom on ground floor with double bed (single bed available as well if you let me know). There's a shared shower room with this one - not ensuite.
You can sleep in a tent with the wild boar outside if you would prefer.
The house is in a pretty valley with a river running at the bottom of the garden. Very beautiful nature all around. Pond swimming on the land, river swimming not far.
I have a young puppy border collie dog who is not yet trained up, so quite bouncy.
A gorgeous walk of 40 mins through the gorges de cauyne poynt to Chateau de Termes.
It's a 30 minute walk to the local shop, or 15 mins by bike or 10 mins by car. Restaurants in Lagrasse - a popular abbey, artisanal town about 25 mins by car. Most local restaurant Le Moulin Neuf in Lanet - must reserve - (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Lovely resto in Villerouge Termenes - seasonal for evening dinn(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Always a fan of Kezako in Mouthoumet and Davejean.
Mediterranean sea is about 1 hour 10 mins away. As are airports and train stations. Public transport is non existant.
Closeness to the glorious french nature that is all around.
