There are very few houses on our street. Sound travels. Please be courteous to our neighbors.
Our house is in the forest. Expect to see wildlife, such as bears and deer. If you leave them alone, they will do the same! Do not leave any food or trash outside, including in your vehicle!
No parties, weddings or events allowed without prior approval.
No outside noise after 10:00 p.m.
NO SMOKING inside our home. This includes cigarettes, cigars and marijuana. ONLY smoke outside and discard cigarette butts appropriately. You are in the forest. Carelessness can easily cause a fire. Damage or fires started by the renter are the sole responsibility of the renter.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to eight (8) persons.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Do not remove towels or linens from the property.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Exceptions to above mentioned policies must be approved in writing, in advance.
PARKING – Limited to three (3) vehicles. No parking in the street during winter months to allow plows through. Parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds given for storms or road conditions. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. 4 wheel drive vehicles and/or chains recommended during snowy months.
TRAVEL INSURANCE – Recommended
Our home is privately owned. We are not responsible for accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. We are not responsible for loss of guests' personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this reservation, guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
We live in San Diego and love to travel. Our Lake Tahoe lodge is our favorite place to escape, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We hope you enjoy our peaceful retreat as much as we do!
