Guests welcome to use the spaces (private and shared) that we have specified. But we ask guests to respect the designated private spaces: garage, office (bureau/bureel), basement (kelder), and attic (zolder).
We will usually be home when you stay in the private room. You are welcome to use the shared amenities that we have shown during the tour such as the refrigerator, coffee machine, stove, pots, pans, spices, etc.
1) Our home is located in a residential neighbourhood, so please be considerate in terms of noise in the evening (from 23:00 on).
2) Please park your car(s) either in the driveway or in front of the house (gray pebbles) and not in front of the neighbors’ houses ( this can be a hassle for them if they are expecting company themselves).
3) Most of the house is accessible to guests, however some spaces are private such as the closets, wardrobes and cupboards that have not been set aside for Airbnb, the attic (next to the upstairs double bedroom), the basement, and the garage.
Thanks and enjoy yourselves!
We are Koen and Elizabeth. We have three lovely boys and little girl that keep us happy and busy;-) We travel all over the world for work and love that our family is constantly exposed to people from different cultures with different perspectives.
We always have friends and colleagues from around the world stay at our house, so opening our home to Airbnb was a natural step. We love having people stay with us in one or both of our rooms when we are home. And when we go on vacation or out-of-town for the weekend, we also love to open our home so that other guests (families, friends, etc) can enjoy the slow, easy-going, and friendly Limburg experience...and the pastries (Limburgse vlaai;-)
