Sweet, cozy 2 room cottage w/ a large, private outdoor deck. Pine-paneled throughout, with two picture windows onto lawns. Full bathroom with new fixtures and a shower. Comfy Macy's Queen sized bed. On two wooded acres, just 4 miles from town.

The pine paneling gives the space a very cozy, rustic charm. The acreage is full of birdsong and deer often track through early in the morning. It is not unusual to see a rabbit or other small animals. No bear, though. Very comfortable Macy's Queen sized bed.
The entire cottage and the grounds for strolling. There is a path that leads to a secluded pond.

If guests have special needs I am open to hearing about them and will try to accommodate.
I always hope guests will clean up after themselves. I don't want them to smoke indoors or out. Pets by negotiation. If they are a couple I hope they will be kind and loving to each other.

I am a retired journalist whose work regularly appeared in the New York Times Sunday Magazine, Playboy, Esquire and other national magazines. Not wishing to be somnolent upon retirement, I decided to write and direct a low budget indie film entitled, "Ophelia Shouldn't Drown Herself But She Probably Will." Which I am presently editing. Life can be a joy when we don't tell ourselves negative stories about the events we live through. The secret: just live it, and stop thinking about it!
Try not to linger on the feelings you may have about it. Just let go and be here.
