Dear Ms. Jones, Firstly, we want to thank you for your feedback, although it is with great concern that we receive your review. We, at The Nobleman Boutique Hotel, work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case, we have fallen short. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you and your husband. At The Nobleman Boutique Hotel, we have installed both electric and gas water heating geysers to ensure our guests always have the comfort of hot water, whether there be load shedding or other faults. At the time you were staying with us, our empty gas bottles needed to be replaced, which can cause the smell of gas to linger in the air for a few minutes. Such a service is an unavoidable necessity that should have been better explained to you. The safety of our guests is a priority, and although we conduct regular inspections of our gas lines, we did have all the lines re-checked and can safely confirm that no leaks were found. Simultaneously, a gas heating system can be more sensitive to reach the desired water temperature, but we will definitely be getting a professional company to come in to look for and repair any possible faults that may have caused the cold water gaps which you experienced during your stay, and avoid this from happening again. Regarding the incorrect booking details, due to the booking being made via an online portal, in this case Airbnb, we unfortunately have no control over the system and simply receive the registered information. Our reservation system for the hotel is a live system, which is synchronized with the online portals. We have enquired as to how a fault like this could have occurred and are awaiting feedback. We take Health and Safety regulations very seriously, and the mould that you found on your bread is unacceptable. We cannot apologise enough for this. We have implemented stricter inspection procedures for our F&B staff to ensure that this does not happen again. We greatly appreciate your comments regarding the friendliness and attention of our staff, and will pass these onto them. They have trained and worked hard to provide our guests with the best possible service, and are always delighted to receive recognition for it.
