Our clean, quiet 1928 Craftsman bungalow is in the safe and quiet upper Glenview District of Oakland. The living room and bedroom of the in-law apartment downstairs are carpeted.
The apartment is a one bedroom, one bathroom space with a kitchen and living room and is tastefully furnished. The bedroom has a full sized mattress. There is a convertible loveseat/twin bed in the living room. The bathroom has a tub/shower. It is located below the main residence but has windows in each of the four rooms so it is bright and airy.
There is private access into the apartment from two entry doors. There is a gas wall furnace for cold months, but the space stays pleasantly cool even on hot summer days. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, toaster oven, electric teapot, microwave oven and coffee maker. There are no pets on the property so if you have allergies you needn’t worry. The living room and bedroom have recently installed carpeting.
The kitchen isn't set up for cooking meals as there are currently no pots and pans other than a tea kettle. There is a toaster oven, coffee maker and microwave over for heating items or toasting.
The house was built in 1928 and although it is pretty quiet you may occasionally hear sound from upstairs and water flowing through the plumbing.
There is no smoking anywhere on the property and the apartment has not been child proofed.
No dogs or cats are permitted on the premises.
The apartment and small backyard. Electronic door entry does not require you to carry a key.
