Casa is located at the border of Caguas city, in a quite gated neighborhood.
It's a large beautiful city, just 20 minutes from San Juan, than offers beautiful scenery a great variety of restaurants, local bars, historic buildings, a botanical garden, arts and music events, all while maintaining a charming small town feel.
Our centro de Bellas Artes is one of the largest performing Arts centers in the Caribbean. The popular "Al Fresco" event held on the last Friday of every month is an opportunity for locals and visitors to mingle and enjoy live music, an extraordinary variety of food, drinks and an impressive collection of artisans displaying their wares. Just 40 minutes from beautiful Luquillo beach, Seven Seas as well as the Bioluminescent bay and ferries to Vieques and Culebra islands.
The house is uniquely designed combining the iconic parts of Puerto Rican heritage- from Spanish to Indian influences. Paintings by famous local artists enhanced our walls.

Three bedrooms with air conditioning and two full bathrooms are upstairs overlooking the nature and the pool. One half bathroom is on the main floor. Two bedrooms with queen size beds, master bedroom with a King size bed and TV unit.

Dear Guest:

Thank you for choosing Casa de la Serenidad for your stay in P.R.
We hope that you enjoy your vacation here. Please read our rental agreement. If you rent the property you agree to our rental agreement.

SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT
The residence located at Road 189 intersection road 931, Valle Borinquen #6, Navarro, Gurabo, P.R 00778, for duration of the Rental Term for the total Rental Fee and other good and valuable consideration as described herein.
OCCUPANCY
Guest agrees than no more than six(6) persons shall be permitted on the property at any time during the Rental Term, all of whom shall comply with the conditions and restrictions imposed upon Guest under this Agreement. Pets are not allowed , No Events celebration allowed during this Rental Term.
CONDITION AND USE OF PROPERTY
The property is provided in "as is" condition. Rental Agent shall use its best efforts to ensure the operation of all the amenities in the Property , such as internet access, satellite or cable TV access, pool, air conditioning or electrical appliances. Rental agent shall not be held responsible for such items failure to work, but will make every effort to correct any issues as reported as quickly as possible.
Guest acknowledges that use of amenities such as pools, spas, decks, gas grill, and the like may be potentially dangerous and involve potential risks if improperly used, particularly with regard to children and such use is at the Guest's own risk.
When leaving any room , You MUST TURN OFF all air conditioner units. Leaving room doors open while the air conditioner is On is NOT permitted and it may cause damage to the units and the power system of the house may fail.
NO re-arrange of furniture is permitted inside or outside of the house.
Guest shall use the Property for residential purposes only and in a careful manner to prevent any damage or loss to the property and keep the Property in clean and sanitary condition at all times.
The Property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine or any other products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $250.00.

Guest and any additional permitted guests shall refrain from loud noise and shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or inconvenience neighbors, nor shall Guest use the property for any immoral, offensive or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law, association rules or ordinance, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the Property.
There is no daily housekeeping service. Garden and pool cleaning will be once a week. Additional request of service will be charge and paid at the moment of the service .
DEFAULT
If Guest should fail to comply with the conditions and obligations of this Agreement, Guest shall surrender the Property, remove all Guest's property and belongings and leave the property in good order and free of damage.
No refund of any portion of the Total Rental Fee shall be made and if any legal action is necessary, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement from the other party for all costs incurred.
ASSIGNMENT OR SUBLEASE
Guest shall not assign or sublease the Property or permit the use of any portion of the Property by the other persons who are not family members or guests of the Guest and included within the number of and permitted occupants under this Agreement.

RISK OF LOSS AND INDEMNIFICATION
Guest agrees that all personal property, furnishings, personal affects and other items brought into the property by Guest or their permitted guests and visitors shall be at the sole risk of Guest with regard to any theft, damage, destruction or other loss and Rental Agent shall not be responsible or liable for any reason whatsoever.
Guest hereby covenants and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rental Agent and their agents, owners, successors, employees and contractors from and against any cost, damages, liabilities, claims, legal fees and other actions for any damages, costs, attorneys fees incurred by Guest due to any claims relating to destruction of property or injury to persons or loss of life sustained by Guest or family and visitors of Guest in or about the Property and Guest expressly agrees to save and hold Rental Agent harmless in all such cases.
RELEASE
Guest herby waives and releases any claims against Rental Agent, the Property owner and their successors, assigns, employees or representatives, officially or otherwise, for any injuries or death that may sustained by Guest on or near or adjacent to the Property, including any common facilities or amenities.
Guest agrees to use any such facilities or amenities entirely at the Guest's own initiative, risk and responsibility.
ENTRY AND INSPECTION
Guest shall allow access to the property for purposes of repair inspection, pool and garden maintenance. Rental Agent or any employee shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner and by mutual agreement for the benefit of Guests.
If Rental Agent has a reasonable belief that there is imminent danger to any person or property, Rental Agent may enter the Property without advance notice.

UNAVAILABILITY OF THE PROPERTY
In the event the property is not available for use during the Rental Term due to reasons, events or circumstances beyond the control of the Rental agent, Rental Agent will apply due diligence and good faith efforts to locate a replacement property that equals or exceeds the property with respect to occupancy capacity, location and value that meets the reasonable satisfaction of the Guest. If such replacement property cannot be found and made available, Rental Agent shall immediately return all payments made by the guest, whereupon this Agreement shall be terminated and Guest and Rental Agent shall have no further obligations or liabilities in any manner pertaining to this agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY
50% refund if cancel before four weeks the start of the trip.
If a Guest decide for any reason to arrive after the day of the duration of the Rental Term or leave the Property before the Rental Term duration , No Refund will proceed for any unused portion of the rent.

STORMS
If there is a storm or hurricane and the states or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area "and/or a Mandatory evacuation order has been given for a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest, The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area, we will refund:
Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane warning is lifted; and Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
In addition to the standard terms included herein, Guest acknowledges and agrees that the following additional terms and conditions apply to the Guest's rental of the property.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
This agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties with the regard to the rental of the property, and any changes, amendments or modifications hereof shall be void unless the same are in writing and signed by both the Guest and the Rental Agent.
This agreement may be signed in one or more counterparts, each of which is an original, but taken together constitute one in the same .

We cannot recommend this house highly enough. It is immaculately presented with wonderful original furnishings, and tasteful and thoughtful decorations. It is well kept and beautifully maintained. The outdoor area is amazing, from the inviting pool, to the many cosy sitting areas, the hammock, or the BBQ corner. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you would need to prepare a delicious Puerto Rican feast. The bed rooms are large, cool and welcoming. The sheets, pillows, and mattresses are all of a very high quality standard. The bathrooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Nothing has been overlooked from the beautiful, large wooden front door to the exterior landscaping. A stay at this beautiful home doesn't only make your Puerto Rico trip more enjoyable, it is worth the trip itself. The host Socorro is an amazing, attentive, kind, caring, compassionate, and extremely thoughtful person, we will never be able to thank her enough for the fabulous week we spent at her beautiful home.

This rental was perfect for our 2 couples. The house looks exactly as the pictures, Socorro provided everything to include shower gel, shampoo, herbal washes, bug spray, beach supplies etc. The home was clean and truly romantic. I would definitely stay again!!

Socorro's house was as beautiful as we saw in the pictures. We had a great stay at her house and really enjoyed the pool. The house is about 30 minute drive from San Juan. The house is located in a gated community which I liked. Socorro was available to promptly answer all our questions every time we texted her. I will definitely stay again at Socorro's house next time I visit PR for the beautiful beaches.

As all the previous comments, the home is beautiful! Nicely decorated. So much attention to detail it looks exactly like the pictures and more.So many spaces in the garden. Inside was very clean,spacious and fully equipped. What isn't listed is there is an extra bed (twin size)in one of the rooms. Socorro is very nice and was very helpful when needed. She extended her services without hesitation. We are looking forward to visiting again. I highly recommend this place for families who want to feel at home yet away from home. You must rent a car in order to venture out. But there are local kid friendly activities.There is no uber in the area.

She's an amazing personal driver that has been working with my guests for a few years. She's friendly, reliable and always available to please my guests. Beautiful home and excellent location! Like everyone else we enjoyed our stay here. Socorro is an excellent host and the property is truly amazing! Pictures are accurate and the decorations and art works were great to look at. Beds were comfortable and the pool was very enjoyable. Very close to downtown Caguas and to stores like Walmart. We would stay again at this house in a heartbeat!

Casa de la Serenidad offers visitors to Puerto Rico a gorgeous Spanish-style home in a secluded gated community with a private pool in a tropical setting. The description for the home is accurate but cannot fully describe the sensory pleasures that await those fortunate enough to stay, including the song of the coqui, the beauty of the home decor and abundant tropical foliage, and even the comfort of the wonderful beds and pillows. Casa de la Serenidad also boasts a hostess who is a wonderful communicator, gracious, and helpful. Socorro rescued us from a nearby gas station and guided us to her home after we arrived very late at night from the airport. Our family had such a wonderful time relaxing here and we hope to return someday.

Casa de Serenidad is a beautifully relaxing retreat located in Puerto Rico just minutes from San Juan. The house looks like it should be in a magazine....oh wait! on the last day of our stay we found a magazine with the house on the front page and featured in it. The house is spacious, and decorated just as you think a tropical home should be. Everything including furniture, linen, kitchen, (with ALL you need), is first class, top of the line. Socorro had a friend waiting at the house very late to greet us and show us how everything worked and where everything was. Socorro was ALWAYS available to answer my calls...very sweet. The inside of the house was so comfortable and serene, but the outside was magical. Beautiful sparkling pool with waterfall, orchids blooming in the trees, coqui frogs, doves, and two large tropical birds every morning waiting for us to greet them. Do not hesitate to stay at Casa de Serenidad.
