It's a real shelter!...and your true home away home.
A quite, cozy bohemian style 5th floor apartment in the vivid heart of the city with balcony view to the cozy rooftops...
The best cultural places & popular ruin bars are just in a stone's throw!
A kiadó hely
Welcome to our little sanctuary :) If you are looking for a real home and a special Budapest apartment for your stay, you are on the right place!
The apartment is on the top floor in a more than 100-year-old five-storey building, and because the half of the building has just 4 stores, the view to the opposite site's rooftop and chimneys is very fabled. The building itself was built in 1910 so it survived 2 world wars and several smaller and bigger revolutions too... and it shows upon it of course, but it is its unique beauty :)
The apartment has FULL COMFORT, it's AIR-CONDITIONED to cool you down during the hot summer days and has an authentic heating facility to warm you up in the frosty winter.
You can put down your shoes and clothes in the tiny hall, and have rest in the very bright living room, cook a fine dinner in the well-equipped kitchen or wash away the dust of the road in the super clean bathroom.
In the front of the apartment's window there is a small area on the corridor where you can sit down and have your morning coffee too.
Upstairs, on the LOFT there is a DOUBLE BED for 2 person and in case downstairs there is a sofa which can be turned into an extra double bed. So here can sleep even 4 person but I say this apartment is optimal for 2 maximum 3 person.
If you are coming for 3, please, inform me!
The apartment is 27qm with an 8 qm loft as bedroom.
You are going to get the keys to the WHOLE APARTMENT and to the entrance gate. You can get to the 5th floor’s corridor by ELEVATOR.
The corridor is very peaceful, used only by one dare neighbor and we ,and there is also a little GREEN CORNER BALCONY on the corridor right in front of the window with a little table and chairs to sit down and enjoy the calm evenings between the rooftops.
The apartment is WELL EQUIPPED with everything what you just need during your stay, like;
- shampoo, shower cream, and soap,
- hair dryer
- bed sheets, linens, extra blankets and pillows
- clean towels (we use for towels and bed-linens just nature friendly, natural detergent and softener considering environmental protection and our guests with sensitive or allergic skin)
- toilet papers
- guest slippers
- full kitchen equipment ( unfortunately no oven, but there is toaster and waffle maker too)
- AeroPress® Coffee Maker -TRY IT! :)
- coffee, sugar, salt, spices, oil, some cereal...etc.
- dish-washing liquid
- washing machine with detergent and softener
- free WI-FI spot
- cable TV channels
- and table games and cards for the lazy evenings
If you need anything else or special, contact me, and I will see what can I do for you. :)

Sziasztok, or hello Everyone!
I'm Orsi, and I really try to introduce ourself in brief :) We are a Hungarian young couple in our late 20's early 30's and living in the heart of Budapest, Hungary's capital and the home of "ruin bars". Balázs is freelance photojournalist at one of a biggest photo-agency of our country, and I am freelance product and graphic designer and we love what we are doing! Both of us were born countryside, I moved to Budapest during my university years and Balázs came here for work after the exchange studies in Volda, Norway. Honestly after almost 10 years I still feel here at Budapest like a tourist bacause this city is still abel to renew from day to day or hour to hour. There are so many old and new places to discover, that you can never reach the end :)
We freshly moved together in a small apartment on Buda side (as you know, Budapest is the union of Buda and Pest intersected by a big river called Danube) with our little mixture dog, Pruszik. So we have an extra flat in the vivid heart of Budapest on Pest side where we really love to host just like you (of course, you can bring your pet dog, too).
I bought that little cozy atelier style apartment 2 years ago in this almost 100-year-old building, and after a renovation this was my little warm home and atelier till this autumn. While I was living here this wasn't just a home or workplace, it was accommodation for a lot of people who are already my friends :) One of them was telling me several times, that she can literally feel the spirit of this apartment...and maybe she’s right.
It was always a very calming experience for everybody just staying here, sitting on the balcony starring at the rooftops or chatting on the sofas under the loft (which is made by my very super 67-year-old Mum, I'm so proud of her :).
With Balázs our passion are the travelling, the nature and the outdoor sports. I am a paraglider pilot and rock climber and Balázs is in love with slacklining and highlining. These hobbies are very important for us, in Balázs's case for the pure relaxing, for me getting out to the four walls. We are also two of the founders of a Hungarian outdoor team "Outdoor Inhales", so if you want, we can pick you up, and bring to one of our slackline/highline sessions organised in the Buda Hills or just in one of the several green parks in the city, trust me it's a big fun :) Because our hobbies and creative professions travelling is really important for us to get more and more inspiration and elan. We think travelling is the best thing what can happen to you :) And when we can't allow to go abroad we just meet our friends (or get new ones) of course whenever just possible somewhere in the nature. :) Our common big dream is to buy a big car and travel to Norway at least for a month, so Balázs could show me all the beauties of the fjords, magical hills, the aurora borealis and those cozy villages :).
So, let's stay with us, or let us stay with you, whatever just keep on traveling! :)
