The very recently renovated/restored apartment, within the grand Hays House (built between 1906 and 1908) is a lovely home away from home. Guests will enjoy a small, but well-appointed and comfortably furnished studio apartment, professionally decorated with fine linens, unique furnishings and original artwork. The bed is a queen size and has been said to be absolutely heavenly. There is a window unit air conditioner and a ceiling fan. Please note, this is an OLD house, and as such, has a few idiosyncrasies (we think of it as character) but please be assured, cleanliness and comfort are our priorities.
The apartment occupies part of the ground floor of this stately home. There is a large wrap-around front porch (with a swing, benches and chairs) as well as a back patio/garden area and yard. Guests are welcome to use these outdoor spaces 24 hours a day.

Egyéb fontos dolgok
While the apartment has its own private entrance, it shares the ground floor of the building with Amy Friedman's painting studio.
Guests may come and go as they please, and make themselves at home while staying in the Hays House. They may take their coffee on the front porch, relax on the porch swing with a book, enjoy people-watching or an afternoon cocktail. Smoking is allowed in outdoor spaces only, and ashtrays are provided. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis only, but dogs would never be allowed to be in the apartment either unattended or uncrated.
