The cottage was just as we expected from the information on Airbnb. It was picturesque with hydrangeas at the entrance and roses climbing on the front wall. All of the amenities were as we had hoped with a compact kitchen in the downstairs living area, a separate dining area, and two large and comfortable ensuite bedrooms upstairs accessed by separate stairs. That suited us well as 2 couples travelling together.
Debbie responded quickly to messages prior to arrival and greeted us warmly when we arrived with a quick orientation to the cottage and the local area. She was helpful in sorting out any minor issues and with advice about where to obtain supplies in the local area.
Trébry itself was even quieter than we expected because the one local store and bar had closed. That meant that the nearest small shop was a couple of km away in St Glen. The nearest supermarket is a little further in Moncontour which was always a pleasure to visit.
We stayed 3 weeks, using the cottage as a base for exploring Brittany and that worked very well. We got as far afield as Mont Saint Michel, Roscoff, Carnac and Angers with lots of places between. We also enjoyed the marked trails for walking in the local area.
We are happy to recommend Debbie and her cottage as a wonderful host and convenient location for exploring Brittany.
