I reached out to Patty early - I wanted to use her home as a getaway weekend to propose to my girlfriend. Patty responded in less than an hour, talked with me over email about every possible detail, connected me with her brother (our chef), and ensure that every detail was accounted for. When I arrived, she and Chef Tony were at the house. I immediately gave them both a hug, they were so warm and welcoming. The house was truly spotless, BEAUTIFUL, well kept, and even more perfect than the pictures and description. We were given a quick tour and left to enjoy their home. The house is truly a gem, a 30 second walk to the water (Patty even left water shoes and towels for us!), 3/4 mile along the beach to a waterfall, and across the street from a lovely winery ($4 for a tasting of 12 wines!) The dinner was a 5 course french meal that was absolutely beyond words - exquisite. Each course was paired perfectly with a wine hand picked by Chef Tony. I have never experienced such a service. Everything was truly delectable - the pictures do not do his craft justice. During dinner, Chef Tony and Patty told us stories and talked us through each course which was so enjoyable to hear from them. During dinner, they lit a bon fire out back for our enjoyment before dessert. (proposal time!) After, we came in to celebrate with the most divine chocolate moose cheesecake and champagne toast. The entire kitchen was clean before we were even finished eating. The following morning they were back to cook us eggs Benedict with mimosas (Chef Tony smoked the salmon and turkey bacon himself). Patty allowed us to stay late in the morning, enjoy the breeze and water's edge before heading out. Without question, I would return to their house as a getaway weekend at any opportunity whether to experience the French meal or just to stay in their home - it is the most prefect place. You will forget all your worries and cares and slip into a place of true relaxation, comfort, and bliss! We are all still talking about how perfect this past weekend way, and truly we have Patty and Chef Tony to thanks.
