Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Catskills with easy access to all that mid Hudson valley has to offer. 5 minutes to Uptown Kingston and the O&W and Wallkill rail trails; 15-25 minutes to Rhinebeck, Ashokan Reservoir, Woodstock, Saugerties and New Paltz; 30-45 minutes to Lake Minnewaska, Mohonk Mtn House, Belleayre, Hunter and Wyndham. Kingston, New Paltz and Rosendale are all ten minutes away, surrounding you with a plethora of hiking trails, climbing, dining, drinking, entertainment and shopping.

The cottage is a hop to the Walkill Valley Rail Trail that hugs the Monhonk Preserve. Inside the cottage, you will feel warm and cozy, just like home. The Rosendale trestle and Joppenberg Mountain are a quick walk or bike ride away. Shops, amenities close by. Your pups will Love the yard! Easy access to trails for XCountry skiing/snow shoes. Dog fee is $75 per dog, 2 dog max. Dogs over 50 pounds are special request. Rosendale swimming pool open is to public. $75 for guest 3 and $75 for guest 4.

A diverse valley, one mile long and half a mile wide, there's plenty of privacy but lots of room for adventure- At any time you may discover a group of children building fairy houses, stumble upon a flying trapeze or Tai Chi Class class, or wander into the Rail Trail cafe for music under the trees.

This unique, centrally located 500 sq ft ground-floor, 1.5 story apartment is in an ideal location to explore Rosendale and the surrounding areas. Located in a 1890s Brownstone, the Shack is a comfortable refurbished studio with hand hewn beams, brick walls and a wood burning stove. Sleep in a queen Murphy bed (pulls down) and prepare food in the kitchenette. Keep in mind nobody above you and the town shuts down at 10 PM so you have a decent amount of peace and quiet.
