Hilltop Hideaway is a perfect romantic getaway set in the tranquil Forest of Dean. Newly converted, bedroom, shower room and an open plan kitchen/lounge. There are slide opening doors that lead onto the decking, with views towards The Wye Valley and beyond. The Hideaway offers a perfect romantic place to unwind and relax in the peaceful countryside. This is accessed by a steep drive.You will have a king sized bed and the necessary equipment in the kitchen for a idyllic stay in the Forest of Dean

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and ready supply of wood, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated, shower room is close by along a short path adjacent to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs.

Alabaster Lodge is a detached lodge, built in 2023, situated on the owner’s 14-acre working farm. Set within the Wye Valley AONB with fabulous far reaching views of the rolling countryside. Warm and cosy, with full central heating, the lodge is an all year round destination for cyclists, walkers and nature enthusiasts. Uninterrupted views of the Wye Valley, where you can catch sight of birds of prey, including the beautiful red kites who can often be seen hovering over the fields on the farm.

Clairville Apartment: Garden Terrace, Central Ross

Clairville is among the oldest sandstone buildings (circa 1600s) in central Ross-on-Wye. This comfortable Ground Floor Apartment provides the perfect base to access the towns Restaurants, Period Pubs and Bars while being in walking distance of the Forest and River. Symonds Yat, Mountain Bike trails, Canoes or Paddleboarding are only 15 minutes away. Within an hour, the Welsh mountains, Hay on Wye, Ledbury, Malvern hills and showgrounds. The Old Shop is in the agricultural village of English Bicknor within the beautiful Forest of Dean district and the Wye Valley. The iconic Symonds Yat viewpoint is a pleasant walk away from the property through fields and via quiet country lanes. The Old Shop is an ideal base for those wanting to walk, mountain bike, climb, take part in water sports on the River Wye or just relax and explore this beautiful area. Coleford town is close by and there is a lovely local pub in walking distance.

Little Hawthorns Cottage

Little hawthorns is situated on a small holding set within its own secluded area (with secure private parking). It has a private and secure garden with orchard providing peace and tranquility. It has fully equipped kitchen, a luxury double bedroom that sleeps 2 and a full size luxury sofa bed that can easily accommodate 2 further adults/children. Utility area with washing machine and fast fibre internet. Welcome hamper is provided on arrival for guests that are staying 3 or more nights.

Field Cottage - House & Annexe

Field Cottage is a charming country cottage, in a peaceful location with country views from every window. It's just 10 minutes drive to Ross-On-Wye. The main house has 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces, dining room & kitchen. There are bunk beds in the kids room however these would be suitable for adults as standard single bunks. The separate self contained annex has a downstairs bathroom and shower room, with upstairs living space/kitchen. A single sofa bed and camp bed can be used upstairs.

There is a woodburner in the lounge for those chilly winter nights. There is a private court yard where you can sit outside, listen and see the surrounding wildlife including Red Deer, Red Kites and Barn Owls to name a few . This cottage offers a luxury couples hideaway with magnificent surroundings views

Badgers Bothy is set within a woodland glade in the grounds of the 16th century Amberley Farmhouse and provides the most unique and charming country escape. Our idyllic cottage is set on the edge of Minchinhampton Common (located in an AONB) and with miles of footpaths which are perfect for those wishing to explore the Cotswolds. This beautiful cottage exudes an aura of peace and tranquillity and a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.

Gilpin Cottage

Gilpin Cottage is the perfect bolt-hole in the heart of Ross-On-Wye, whether you are looking for a relaxing retreat or a base for wild adventures. Our Cottage is ideally located in the centre of town giving easy access to the many independant shops, cosy pubs and restaurants. You can happily explore the region's fantastic attractions, festival and countryside from this central location. We hope you enjoy staying here as much as we do.

The Woodman's Bothy

A rural retreat tucked away on a hillside at the edge of the forest where you can relax in front of the wood burning stove or enjoy the views of the beautiful Hope Mansell valley by the fire pit. This rustic hideaway is perfect for a romantic break or as a base for walkers and cyclists wanting to explore The Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. Ross on Wye (10 mins), Monmouth (20 mins) and the cathedral city of Hereford (45 mins).
