Open to guests for the first time September 2021, our lovingly restored cottage has been finished with your comfort in mind. Enjoy the quiet bush block with native animals aplenty. While private and peaceful, you are only 1km to the main beach, and 3 minutes to shops, cafes & restaurants at the bottom of the hill.

Soothed by the sights and sounds of the sea, the Quirky Black Shack invites you to a space with all the mod cons and bespoke finishes. This funky three bedroom home is the perfect place to relax after exploring all that the region has to offer; from the surrounding farm land forming part of this expansive food bowl, to the ocean that is the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

The Cove Retreat- Pet Friendly Oceanfront Studio

This unique pet friendly property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve and their little dog Charlie live on site. This comfortable apartment on ground floor has great ocean views from the bedroom. Pets are very welcome we just ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates. All of the shared outdoor areas including the firepit, overlook the ocean.

Charade Cottage at the Beach

You’ll treasure your time at this quaint cosy freestanding cottage. Just a short 500 metre stroll to the beautiful beach or head in the other direction only 300 metres to the IGA, Tavern, Chemist, Bakery, Doctor, Fish & chip shop and Garage. Enjoy your privacy with your own entrance and complete separation from the owners dwelling. There is a resident Labrador that will appreciate a passing cuddle. (However this means we cannot accept other pets, aside from service animals)

This is a quite little hideway with ocean views, and 400metres from Oaks Beach, where turtles have being coming up to nest or a walk along the 20km beach front path to Bargara.
