Enjoy being steps from the water on Sand Lake which is one of the clearest lakes in the area. The updated cottage has all modern amenities which adds to the lake side appeal. For those who fish or like to boat, a private dock is provided for you and also steps to get in the water and cool off. Find the perfect getaway in this charming 1916 carriage house near the heart of downtown Ladysmith. Built on the spacious grounds of the historic Smith mansion, it boasts a full kitchen, spacious living room with a queen hideabed, queen bed in bedroom, and three season porch looking out to the private back yard, fire pit and woods beyond. The Memorial Park, just across the street, includes sandy beach, fishing dock, boat launch, basketball, pickleball and tennis courts, and snowmobile trail.

Flaming Torch Lodge

This is a quaint little cabin on the Flambeau River just outside of Ladysmith, WI (flambeau translastes to flaming torch) It is a clean space with rustic charm. It has a fully equipped kitchen, stove and fridge. A gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room. Snuggle up on the sofa or recliner, turn on the fireplace, and relax. There is one bedroom with a memory foam mattress. A loft with a sleeper couch. Free amenities, including cleaning. No pets and no smoking at any time please.

Located just a mile out of town for convenience. You’ll find an easy slope down to the river.
