On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. The original thatched roofed farmhouse, built in the 1920's, with its three surrounding cottages and rondavel, offer a perfect escape far from the pressures of city life for the exclusive enjoyment of a single group. Shengwedzi offers adults and children a memorable experience in a magical setting.

Our Lodge on the mountain has the best views in the Magaliesberg. With sweeping vistas over the valley, you'll be immediately at peace gazing from the patio. A traditional thatch bush home, The Lodge has been lovingly updated with modern, artistic character. Despite a short 1hr 10 min drive from the city, you'll be transported to the heart of nature in this 2,000 hectare game conservancy. Zebras, giraffes, baboons and buck roam freely with occasional visits to our drinking hole.
