Private entrance suite overlooking Burr Pond. Conveniently close to Mountain Top Inn & Resort (3.7 miles), Killington/Pico ski resorts and Rutland. Swim, kayak, bike and hike. Take advantage of more than 12 miles of the Pittsford Trail Network. The serenity of country living coupled with the amenities of Rutland! We’re on a short dirt road off of a steep hill. Front or 4 wheel drive vehicles with good all season or snow tires required in the winter. Not suitable for toddlers or young children.

Cozy Contemporary Downtown Texaco

Stay with us if you’d like to be in the center of downtown Castleton. Stores, restaurants, the college and hike/bike rail trail are an easy walk. This is a very convenient location. We are also a short 30-40 minute drive to Pico and Killington ski areas. Five minutes to Lake Bomoseen. Recently updated, heat and AC, full bath, Wi-Fi, Qled tv, a comfortable king sized memory foam bed, a complete kitchenette. Reserved parking adjacent to entry. Everything you need for an overnight or longer stay

Cabin-by-the-falls

One-bedroom cabin (one double bed only) for those who want tranquility. Parking at main house and then short walk downhill, then level rocky trail to the cabin, which is located at a stream and waterfalls. There is a composting toilet, electricity and water. Wifi at main house, on deck, 5 mins walk. Wood burner in cabin, and propane stove in outside kitchen. A stand pipe (potable) or water from nearby stream (non-potable). There is a deck overlooking the stream with a picnic table.

Hillside Cottage @ The Mettawee Retreat

The Hillside Cottage is a luxury cabin with views of the Mettawee River. Located on 26 acres on a back road, it is peaceful & private. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking or relax on the deck. This riverside retreat includes a king bed, jacuzzi tub & a kitchenette. Sitting around the fire pit with dinner cooked on the grill is the perfect ending to a long hike. Whether it’s a quick get-away or an extended vacation, the Hillside Cottage is a simple solution from a complicated life.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. A beautifully restored schoolhouse circa 1860 welcomes you. Situated on a quiet country road this adorable home on one wooded acre has lovely mountain views and a peaceful setting. Nearby you will find skiing, hiking trails and quaint Vermont towns with shops and restaurants. Manchester and Rutland are 30 min. drives, Dorset is just 20 min. Granville NY has a large grocery store and other shops and is only a 15 min. drive.

Enjoy the beauty of Vermont at our private cabin. Situated on acres of woods next to a small creek, the cabin is 15 minutes to Okemo Mountain, the Appalachian Trail and scenic Vermont towns for dining and shopping. With a queen bed loft, a double bed bedroom and a pull out sofa, the cabin sleeps up to 4 people. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there is a charcoal grill outside. High speed fiber optic internet will keep you connected. Max 2 pets allowed.

Dog heavenly! Private, beautiful and relaxing.

Bright, secluded, second floor one room suite with private bathroom overlooking Mill River and across a covered bridge. No neighbors visible, but near town. Fly fish in the back yard, sit around the firepit, enjoy fall foliage, and hike and ski. Swinging bridge and Appalachia long trail very nearby. Close to three ski resorts: Killington, Okemo, and Pico. Dogs are welcome and loved, with plenty of room to run. Comfortable queen-sized bed and couch.

Renovated one room school house. Spacious, open space. Music room has been converted into a bedroom. European style kitchen area. High ceilings with fans and air-conditioner. Propane fireplace. Off-street parking. High speed internet and 65 inch Roku TV with surround sound. Three season screened porch. Also, we have recently introduced a NO CLEANING FEE policy as our way of saying "Thank You" for respecting our property and guidelines.

Bomoseen Bungalow

Located near Lake Bomoseen and Castleton University. This is a charming upstairs apartment in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Walking distance to boat rentals and to a local country store. This apartment provides you with a cozy stay - a bedroom with a queen size bed, sofa bed, and air mattress. There is Roku television, a heat pump for air conditioning or heat, Keurig coffee maker, and more. This is a non smoking unit.
