Private bedroom, bathroom, & entrance in a small, safe residential area. Free street parking. A block away from Metro bus stops, shopping center, recreation center, & bike trail. In under 15 minutes, take the bus to Pentagon Metro station or drive to Reagan National Airport, the National Mall, Pentagon City, Clarendon, or Old Town Alexandria. Enjoy travel essentials, coffee, a mini-fridge, microwave, TV, outdoor patio w/ grill, bicycles, washer/dryer, & more for a comfy and convenient stay.

Your room is about 15' x 10' in size, not including sofa and closet space. It has a mini-fridge with a water filter, a microwave, coffee maker, and 1080p HD TV with streaming access to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime video - there's no cable TV. There's also a mini-sound system and PS3 with a dozen games. There is a bathroom with a toilet and sink. The shower is in its own, small room a few feet from the bathroom. The first bed has a memory foam topper for a super-soft mattress. We can take it off if you prefer a firmer sleep experience. The second bed is a very comfortable memory foam floor mattress, tucked away under the full bed. If you want use it, we'll pull it out and store it in the closet for you with all of the sheets and pillows you'll want with it. There's a Pack n' Play (listed as a crib) and toys for babies and toddlers. The room is mostly baby-proof. The neighborhood is extremely kid-friendly. Under the couch is a cornhole set with bean bags in the closet. We also have a ladderball set somewhere in the basement. For medical emergencies, a first aid kit is under the bathroom sink.

We're a block away from a Starbucks, grocery store, Delia's restaurant, Sweet Frog, Gold's Gym, Gunston Community Center, Tailor Shop, PNC bank, ABC store, nail spa, Four Mile Run trail (leading to the famous O&WD Trail), and a Capital Bikeshare - which you won't need if you opt to ride one of our bikes instead! By the community center is a soccer field, outdoor basketball & tennis courts, and a few playgrounds. We can lend you tennis rackets, tennis balls, basketball, football and soccer ball. Walk or borrow one of our bikes to go to downtown Shirlington, a little more than a mile away along a bike path. Please don't park in the private spaces in front of the townhomes. Free street parking can be found on Glebe Rd., S Meade St., or 28th St. behind the shopping center. If you aren’t planning on parking there past midnight, you can even park in the shopping center parking lot.

The room is close to Ronald Reagan National Airport. It is only a few minutes walk from Crystal City and Pentagon City metro stations. It's near WholeFoods, CostCo, and Harris Teeter, and is super close to restaurants, shops, Pentagon City Fashion Center, and more. The room is obviously only a few blocks from the Pentagon too. Thus the area is very safe. In your stay you will have access to relaxing amenities including magazines, and a panoramic view of a delightful water scenery. You get tons of pillows with pillow shams, in addition to several layers of clean and fresh fabric. You can even ask for more pillows:) There is also daily(or every other day) housekeeping of common areas inside the apartment. This spacious studio has a king bed and kitchenette. It is located within Georgetown Suites Harbour Building. The studio you are assigned may not be the actual one pictured. The building and suites were newly renovated in 2016. This room is best suited for a quiet, solo traveler. You have your own bedroom with Queen bed, but sharing bathrooms with other guests. High speed Verizon Fios fiber optic Wi-Fi, over the air HDTV reception, free laundry. Free parking ON the street, Bus stop around the corner, metro station is 15 min bus ride away. Kitchen/dining/living room are shared with everyone else in the house.

Our house is mostly covered by hardwood floor and tiles, so we do not recommend walking around bare foot. We suggest that you bring a pair of your own non-slippery slippers to walk around the house.

We are located at a quiet end street, there is a convenient store close by. The Village of Shirlington is a small downtown area about 20 minute walk away, or one bus stop from the house. There are Harris Teeter, Library, UPS store, Subway, sports bars, movie theater, and about ten restaurants that are as diverse as you can imagine: Chinese, American, Mexican, Thai, etc.

Updated for Corona Virus Preventive Cleaning: I use Bleach based cleaning products for the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen and a Lysol type disinfectant (Lysol has been sold out for weeks now) in the bedroom, bathroom and all common areas (door knobs, stairs banisters, etc.) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately my work from home days have come to an end. That only means that my weekday check in time will now have to be after 5pm. It will also alter my ability to have check in's as soon as I get home if someone stayed the night before. I'm still willing to work with you to give you an inexpensive airbnb experience with Vega and me in Alexandria City near Washington DC. Thank you for your understanding! Late night same day requests available, but if I'm already in bed I'm sorry but I must decline . My place is simple and always under construction. Currently the basement is being redone (Lighting, painting, etc). An online map tells me I live 5.7 miles from the White House. My dog Vega will ask for your attention. In the room you will find a radio that you can hook to your phone to play your play lists, a small TV in case you need to quietly listen to tv while falling asleep or need the news/weather in the morning. The TV has a Digital over the air antenna that gets most of the network channels. I generally have the dates open up 2 months in advance so my personal planning doesn't overwhelm me, so the farther out future isn't available to book just yet but I am flexible.

The Delray neighborhood of Alexandria City is awesome. The slogan is something like "where Main Street still exists." There are plenty of mom and pop restaurants within walking distance. Sushi, Mexican/Salvadoran, BBQ, Indian, Italian and American cuisine. A few of my favorites are "Streets Market and Cafe", "Los Tias", "Taqueria el Poblano", and "Kaizen Tavern"

Cleanliness and safety is my priority! It’s my promise to all guests that this unit has been throughly disinfected between guests! Very comfortable master bedroom suite with a posturepedic California king mattress, walk-in closet, walk-in double shower and double sinks. There is also Verizon Fios TV, WIFI a small refrigerator and a private entrance. The entrance leads to a large deck with outdoor furniture, and a large back yard.

Band new construction. Bright and airy with hardwood floors, double sink, and a walk in double shower. There is a washer and dryer available. Feel free to use the deck right outside your door. There is outdoor soft seating and a table. Help yourself to the grill!

This is a quiet residential neighborhood. A few restaurants and bars are within a few miles. The nearest metro station is Ballston and East Falls Church, which is about 3 miles away. The metro bus, or the ART to the Metro is about a 2 minute walk from the house.

Nagyon szép hely marad! Michael rendkívül kedves volt! Még a csomagjainkkal is segített, mivel éppen hazaért, amikor odaértünk! Azt kérdeztük a kávéról, mert nem láttuk abban a listában, ahol kávéfőzőt szállítottak, és Michael rendkívül vendégszerető volt, ha Keurig-t K-csészékkel, cukorral és tejszínnel tette a szobába, mielőtt megérkeztünk !! Nagyon szép érintés! A szoba rendkívül szép volt, tágas gardróbszekrénnyel, csodálatos fürdőszobával és törülközőkkel volt gazdag! A szobában mosó és szárító is található! Noha nem használtuk az alátétet, a szárítót használtuk a ráncok eltávolítására a csomagolt ruháinkból, és ez rendkívül hasznos volt! Legközelebb újra ott maradna, amikor a környéken vagyunk! This quiet basement apartment is only 2 blocks from the Clarendon metro (orange line) in the beautiful Lyon Village neighborhood. My renovated apartment has everything you need for your stay in the DC area, but a peek out of the bedroom window might draw you into the backyard, where you are welcome to relax under the sun shades.

Your home away from home has a separate access with keypad entry and is locked off from the rest of the house. The bedroom has a memory foam mattress on the bed, lots of space for clothing and an egress window (that also lets in lots of light if you want it). The family room as 2 single beds in the pullout couch, as well as a tv with Amazon fire stick, digital antennae for local channels, wii and a blu-ray player. The kitchenette has all that you will need for your visit – a full sized refrigerator with Brita water dispenser, coffee pot and tea kettle, microwave, toaster, toaster oven and induction cook top. For those of you in town for work, I have a comfy ergonomic desk chair and high speed wifi. Traveling with your kids? There are movies and games to choose from when you return from your day of sightseeing. Please note that since this is a basement apartment, the ceilings are a bit low. And, at times you will be able to hear me walking about upstairs.

Located in Clarendon, there are numerous restaurants to choose from – Whitlows for half-priced burgers on Mondays, Pete’s Pizza for take out on your way home from the metro, Ambar for Serbian food, and much, much more. Or, walk to Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods for groceries. In addition to restaurants, Clarendon also has a variety of bars. My favorite is Screwtop for wine tasting, but Heritage Brewing is a new tap house just 2 blocks away. Courthouse is half a mile away for movies, and of course Georgetown is just across the river.

Our neighborhood was originally a farm that began to be developed in the 1930's with the majority of development occurring in the 1940's (while the Pentagon was being built) and 1950's. Over the last decade +, many of the original residents moved on and a new generation has settled in. A large (Virginia Highlands) park is at the end of our block with; lighted tennis and basketball courts; a branch library; and Fire Station 105 (1st on scene at the Pentagon on 9-11) with granite from the Pentagon and steel from the Twin Towers on display. The Pentagon's 9-11 Memorial is just a 1 mile walk. Our neighborhood has excellent amenities with a RiteAid (pharmacy and convenience store) and Harris Teeter (grocery store) within close walking distance. Whole Foods and CostCo are also within short walking distance. Though our neighborhood is very close to National Airport, we have almost no noticeable noise because we are not in the flight path for the planes and there is a largely commercial district (Crystal City) with tall buildings that block any sound between the airport and our neighborhood.

CONVENIENT: Room is steps away from a full bathroom, for which you will have preferential scheduling. A powder room on the main floor is also available to you, just in case! Although slowly gentrifying, it is still quite diverse, with a demographic of about a third each of black, latino and white residents. Due to its proximity to the sprawling greenspace known as the Army-Navy Country Club, you'll breathe a bit more oxygen in our neighborhood, as well as encounter more wildlife (mostly birds).

We are here to offer you the best possible AirBnB experience while visiting the Metro DC area. We welcome anyone from anywhere in the world, short term, or even long term stay. This is our best equipped room, we believe it's good enough for honey-mooners or Business/Executive Travelers. It's away from all other bedrooms in the house, with well insulated interior walls. High Speed Internet, a work area with office chair and desk, mini-fridge and microwave, etc.

This is a Master Bedroom, with it's own double vanity bathroom, water room with tub and rainfall shower, a king bed, a writing desk, a 55" Sony HDTV, and other amenities. A couple will feel very comfortable in this master bedroom with ample space for either joint or independent activities. Our house is mostly covered by hardwood floor and tiles, so we do not recommend walking around bare foot. We suggest that you bring a pair of your favorite non-slippery slippers to walk around the house.

The Village of Shirlington is a small downtown area about 20 minute walk, or one bus stop from the house. There are Harris Teeter, Library, UPS store, Subway, sports bars, movie theater, and about ten restaurants that are as diverse as you can imagine: Chinese, American, Mexican, Thai, etc.

A ház folt nélküli, tiszta volt, sok hely volt, a hely nagyon kényelmes volt. A szoba legjobb része a mellékhelyiség volt, kezét a legeredményesebb, amit eddig láttunk. The room is close to Ronald Reagan National Airport. It is only a few minutes walk from Crystal City and Pentagon City metro stations. It's near WholeFoods, CostCo, and Harris Teeter, and is super close to restaurants, shops, Pentagon City Fashion Center, and more. The room is obviously only a few blocks from the Pentagon too. Thus the area is very safe. In your stay you will have access to relaxing amenities including magazines and a panoramic view of a delightful water scenery. You get tons of pillows with pillow shams, in addition to several layers of clean and fresh fabric. You can even ask for more pillows:) There is also daily(or every other day) housekeeping of common areas inside the apartment. This room is best suited for a quiet, solo traveler. You have your own bedroom with Queen bed, but sharing bathrooms with other guests. High speed Verizon Fios fiber optic Wi-Fi, over the air HDTV reception, free laundry. Free parking ON the street, bus stop around the corner, metro station is 15 min bus ride away. Kitchen/dining/living room are shared with everyone else in the house.

Our house is mostly covered by hardwood floor and tiles, so we do not recommend walking around bare foot. We suggest that you bring a pair of your own non-slippery slippers to walk around the house.

We are located at a quiet end street, there is a convenient store close by. We are also close to Four Mile Run trail that leads to the Potomac river, and a Shirlington downtown area with grocery store, library, theater, and lots of restaurants.

Private 1 bed basement apartment with separate/private entrance. Completely renovated with own private kitchen, bathroom, and separate bedroom. Walking distance to Columbia Pike Restaurants/Shops, and minutes to DC.

The property is .2 miles to Columbia Pike shops and restaurants and is minutes to DC, but with the conveniences of easy parking and a little less traffic. The unit is a basement apartment with full sized windows making it extremely light and bright. The ceiling height is the same as the rest of the house, and so it does not feel like your typical basement. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size range, microwave, and dishwasher, making it a perfect home away from home.

The neighborhood is fantastic! Mainly single family houses, and just a few blocks from everything on Columbia Pike. The house is directly opposite a small neighborhood park.
