A rare opportunity to stay in a huge first floor period apartment in one of England's most beautiful cities. Beautifully restored by us and with easy access to the city centre and countryside beyond. Free on-street parking and a space saved for you on request.
The location:
The apartment is extremely well located for visitors wanting to explore the historic city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. The centre of Bath is just a 15 minute level walk via the artisan quarter of Walcot Street or the Paragon. The apartment also benefits from easy access to the stunning Kennet and Avon canal, river and countryside which can be explored via a meadow at the rear of the apartment.
Locally there are a number of great gastro pubs including our favourite the award winning King William (Bath best gastro pub) and One Beaufort. Morrison's supermarket is just down the road. We provide our own Map of Bath with all our favourite places to eat and drink.
The apartment:
Occupying the whole first floor of a listed Georgian build dating back to 1750 the apartment is extremely spacious and has been newly restored in a sympathetic period manner with contemporary detailing that respect the grade 2 listed status of the building.
The apartment benefits from a huge living room with three large bay windows looking out over the Avon valley with views of central bath one side and the countryside the other. The semi circular balcony offer stunning panoramic view of bath and the surrounding countryside, and makes an ideal place for sundowners on a summers evening. The kitchen is located on one side of the living room and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast when you tire of the many fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants in Bath. A separate king bedroom and newly refurbished shower room is located off the central hallway.
We will provide you with all you need for a comfortable stay including, Led TV with apple TV and Netflix, wireless broadband, Stereo with iPod dock, and of course Egyptian cotton bedding and towels.
The apartment is self-catering but to help you get settled in we provide some home-made bread, cereals and a selection of teas, coffee, milk, butter and jams.
Places to eat and drink: We have created a map with our very own top ten favourite places to eat, drink and hangout in the centre of Bath. If you don’t have enough energy for town, we recommend our local pub the King William on London Road for drinks and award winning food. Your other local choice is The Beaufort (other direction along London Road) which also serves food and drinks.
Local amenities: Morrison’s supermarket and 24 hour cash machine is a 2 minute walk down London Road towards town (turn left outside the apartment). There is also a petrol garage / convenience store further down London Road on the right.
Larkhall: (a ‘village’ centre in Bath) containing among other things, two convenience stores (McColl’s and Co-op), a butchers, greengrocers, deli, pub and even a theatre, is just a 5 minute walk away (turn right outside the apartment, cross the road, take the second left up St Saviour’s Road and keep going until you reach Larkhall).
Things to see and do: There are loads of things to keep you occupied during your time in Bath; historic sites, buildings, parks and monuments, museums, art galleries, theatres, shops, afternoon tea, walks, boating, bike riding, day trips to Stonehenge, Avebury and the Cotswolds and of course, the Thermae Bath Spa. We have provided some travel books and leaflets to inspire you but if you would like any more information about activities available in Bath the tourist information centre near Bath Abbey is very helpful. Alternatively, if you would like some personal recommendations from us, please feel free to give us a ring (contact details below).
If you want to get out of the city and explore the surrounding countryside, the Kennet and Avon canal can be explored via the meadow at the rear of the apartment. To reach the canal, turn left outside the front door, take the first left through a gap in the houses to reach the meadow, walk diagonally left across the field, cross the river, go under the railway and up the slope to the canal. When you get to the canal we recommend walking in the direction towards Bradford on Avon (so the canal will be on your right hand side). After about 1.5 miles you reach a pub called The George.
Taxi: If your feet get tired we recommend the local taxi firm ‘V cars’ (phone number hidden)).

The Castle has 6 double bedrooms all with four poster beds, most en-suite (shower and wash basin only). There are two more double beds in the Clockhouse.
The Castle boasts five communal rooms; Lounge / Conservatory, Study, Drawing Room, Library, Great Hall. Dining Hall features long dining table which will accommodate up to twenty guests together. Ideal for a medieval themed feast, banquet, murder mystery weekend venue. Lounge: Four leather sofa’s in a sociable engaging U-shape. Kitchen: Latest mod cons including dishwasher, washing machine etc Features: Rapunzel's tower. Central turret with Observatory for stargazing. Beautiful tapestry panelled hallways lead to the east and west wings. Don't like stairs? Ground floor en-suite bedroom, W/C not in bedroom but next door. We have no neighbours for two mile, the location is completely rural.
What is there to do ?
Further information on "What's on" in Wiltshire, local attractions such as Longleat, Stonehenge, Lacock, Glastonbury and local Pub Guides and Restaurants. Bath, Wells and Salisbury and the Cotswolds are also all closeby from the Castle.

SuperhostStep into the enchantment of this heated treehouse which offers idyllic countryside views. Fix breakfast with tea in a quaint kitchen and cosy up in the charming decor and wood-panelled walls, surrounded by nature. This a perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city - especially if you are having to self-isolate during the current coronavirus crisis. The treehouse is up a long private drive, surrounded by fields so it's the perfect place to get away from it all.
Twiglet is the perfect romantic holiday for those wanting to get away from it all. You can sleep in a cosy double bed in a tree house with nature all around you. Downstairs is your own private bathroom with a shower and a loo. The shepherd's hut next door comprises a kitchen with its own fridge and cooking facilities. All the spaces come with central heating so it is suitable for winter breaks too. There is no TV but WiFi is available. There is a huge amount of outside space to be enjoyed. You can sit and enjoy a drink on the decking in front of the pretty pond which runs in front of the property. From there, you can take a stroll through the orchard and into the fields beyond.
The house is located in Mells, a village that dates back to the 11th century with a reputation for being one of the most serene in Somerset. It has an award-winning pub, the Talbot Inn, as well as a village shop, cafe, and many historic buildings.

A környék nagyon csendes, de nagyon kedves, ha mindent el akar távolítani. Csak néhány percnyire volt a talbot fogadóban, ahol valaha is volt a legjobb étel: Javasoljuk, hogy jöjjön ide, ha kipróbál valami mást.

Enjoy this cosy, self contained countryside studio six miles south of Bath. Stay in splendid isolation with guaranteed privacy. Plenty of countryside walks with just the company of the birds and spring flowers. Situated in a quiet rural hamlet within easy reach, by car or public transport, of Bath, Wells, Bristol, Stonehenge and many National Trust properties.
Perfect for country walks and the heritage city of Bath.
This is a lovely cosy studio room, in our large garden. Guests have their own private entrance. The Garden Room is beautifully furnished with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. There is plenty of heating for the winter months.
The kitchen area has a fridge, microwave, single induction plate, toaster and kettle.
You also have your own shower room.
The Garden Room has its own broadband and a library of DVDs and books.
Bed linen, towels, tea towels, iron and a hair dryer are all provided. There is a heated towel rail in the shower room and a thermostatic heater in the main room.

The Garden Room is set in lovely countryside but within easy reach of a multitude of attractions.
Your morning call will be bird song! Two minutes walk down the lane will take you to Camerton woods, which in May is full of bluebells and wild garlic.
Webbs Cottage is set in the hamlet of New Buildings (it was new in the mid 1800s) and consists of a cluster of stone built ex-miners cottages. It is tucked away in a valley but just a short walk from the busy village of Peasedown St John, which has shops, pubs and a post office and frequent bus services to Bath.
Theatres, restaurants and bars are available in Bath (6 miles:10 km) and Bristol (14 miles) if you feel like trying the night life but the Garden Room is situated in a quiet country location.

We self built the Little Trooper in 2017 with the intention of achieving a unique, fun and comfortable oasis hid away up a private road in the middle of the City giving a holiday feel to escape the fast pace of City life.
The house has 3 bedrooms that sleeps up to 9 adults and is intended to cater for large families visiting our beautiful city.
I think the pictures say it all really and as you will see the house is kitted out with all the extras and luxuries to please everyone.
The area has lots to offer without having to jump into a car. The local newly refurbished pub is just 50m away and has live entertainment most weekends.
100m away is the nature reserve-Troopers Hill, this is well known locally for being one of the best viewpoints of the City.
A 10 minute walk will get you to the local high st, here you will find a great selection of pubs, cafes and great restaurants.
A 20 Minute walk gets you to an amazing hid away riverside bar Beeses tea gardens, the problem is that its on the opposite side of the river.. however get this.. they operate there own small boat that will pick you up and take you to the bar and then take you back for a fee of 50 pence!! this is a must see if the sun is shinning!!

Twerton and Southdown high streets are only 5/7 minutes walk and will give access to more shops, pubs and take away restaurants (Indian, chinese, fish and chips)
We are close to the Bath City Farm where you can enjoy amazing views of Bath and meet some of their animals for free.
Bath city centre (Milsom Street) is 1.7miles away, or a lovely 30 minutes stroll along the Avon and Kennett canal. Several buses go from our area to the city centre and run frequently throughout the day.
Off-street parking is available in our street just outside the house, so would not be an issue if you decided to rent a car or come with your own.
We love our city and would be happy to provide you with all the information you need regadring places to see, where to eat or drink or simply where to relax in and around Bath.
We have a lovely enclosed garden, which you are welcome to use to enjoy a few drinks in the sun, or al fresco dining.
The house and garden are SMOKE free.

This is a Georgian, Grade II listed, one bedroom, newly refurbished, interior designed top floor apartment right in the centre of the City of Bath, situated amongst all the tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. Everything is right on your doorstep! The flat also includes roadside parking, to make the travel that much easier. Giving you access to park anywhere in the city center.
The apartment has been beautifully designed and renovated to a high standard and features brand new Neff appliances and Quartz worktop, fridge freezer and is fully equipped with everything that you will need during your stay.
There is a comfy lounge to relax in with dimmerable mood lighting, two sofas (one of which doubles as an additional bed), a brand new 50 inch TV with BT box and Netflix as well as a dining area, perfect for a lazy breakfast. The bedroom has a comfy brand new double bed and luxury mattress and wall mounted TV. There is also a double walk in shower, free high specification Wifi, washing machine, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bedding and towels.
The apartment is situated right in the centre and by all of the City's beautiful tourist attractions such as The Roman Baths, The Abbey - which is a the end of the road and Pultney Bridge - which is just round the corner. The beautiful Royal Victoria Park is also just up the road along with the Circus and the Royal Crescent.
The apartment is also surrounded by the City's best shops, bars, cafes and restaurants so is right in the middle of all the action!
There is a Waitrose supermarket is just round the corner and the apartment it is literally only a 5-10 minute walk from Bath Spa train station and the bus station.

Elegant and stylish central Bath apartment in Georgian townhouse. Recently renovated with four poster bed and comfortable sofa-bed, this second floor apartment is a few minutes' walk from Bath Spa rail station and the bus station. Beautiful Bath offers the historic Roman Baths, museums, galleries, theatres, cinema, music and comedy venues. Great shopping too. The location is perfect for visitors wanting to explore the historic city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. The centre of Bath is just a 15 minute walk into the heart of the city, the walk in is via the London Road which is great for exploring Bath's renowned antique shops and the artisan shops of Walcot Street. The apartment also benefits from easy access to the stunning Kennet and Avon canal, which can be explored via a meadow at the rear of the apartment.
Unusually for Bath, Kensington Place has free on street parking, as does Grosvenor Place just up the road so although parking isn't 100% guaranteed there are almost always spaces available.
Locally there are a number of great pubs including the King William and The Beaufort. Morrison's supermarket is just 2 minutes away.
The space consists of living room with dining table to enjoy any meals you wish to eat in the apartment, as well as TV and super comfy sofa, bedroom with double bed made up with fresh linen and a shower room.
The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster etc so perfect if you want to eat in.
The apartment is self catering but we provide the basics like milk, tea, coffee etc.
For places to eat and drink we provide a list or our favourite places, however if you don't want to venture into the centre of the city the King William pub (which is excellent) and Nourish are both right on your doorstep.
If you want to stay in and cook Morrison's supermarket (and 24 hour cash machine) is a 2 minute walk away.
There is also a petrol station on the London Road.
There is so much to see and do in Bath, the great thing about it is that as the city is so small you can see all the sights easily on foot. Some of the high points are the Royal Crescent, the Circus, Roman baths, the Abbey, the Holborne museum. The list is endless! The shopping is also great if you want to see quirky independents, for this I'd recommend Walcot Street, Bartlett Street and George Street.
Larkhall: (a ‘village' centre in Bath) containing among other things, two convenience stores (McColl's and Co-op), a butchers, greengrocers, deli, pub and even a theatre, is just a 5 minute walk away (turn right outside the apartment, cross the road, take the second left up St Saviour's Road and keep going until you reach Larkhall).
There is also easy access from the apartment onto the Kennet and Avon Canal path. You can head towards Bradford-on-Avon for a lovely walk and stop off at the George in at Bathampton Mill for refreshments!
The apartment is off the main road into Bath, the bedroom does have secondary glazing so blocks a lot of the noise but please do expect some noise- it is a busy city after all!

SuperhostOur en-suite attic room is perfect for couples or single travellers who want to be close to Bath City Centre. The room is very light with lots of windows and views over the local area, with lovely Victorian terraces. The city centre is a 20 minute walk or a short bus journey away.
Our house is in the Oldfield Park area of Bath. There is a bustling row of local shops 2 minutes away with bars, cafes and plenty of local shops.

Central Bath Georgian Flat, park opposite, great views, 2 minutes from restaurants, shops, bars and cathedral and spa a few minutes further down beyond Milsom Street in this great historic spa city. A really comfy bed to return to. I don’t share the kitchen or sitting room, and no tea making facilities in the bedroom. The price for this location reflects this. You’re welcome to leave your luggage in the hallway on the day of check out.
2 min walk from the centre of historical Bath, opposite lovely park, and great views, light sunny flat. The bedroom is simple, minimalistic, shabby chic style with double bed and small clothes rail. Lovely views with sash windows. This property is over 200 years old. You may want to know that I wash the bedding myself and don't iron the bedding! :) This is a room in my home and the only one used for airbnb. The floorboards are old and painted white, with wood discoloration showing through. The space is this room and share of small bathroom. Breakfast not provided but great cafes within 2 mins walk.
Lovely park across the road, great old fashioned tiny pub across the road that has Irish music session every Friday evening, couple of minutes stroll into historical Bath, for shopping, museums, cafes, bars and art gallery's, and of course the thermal spa. This property is over 250 years old and full of character. I repaint the floorboards each season but they do get scuffed and marked as the season progresses :)

The location is so central, with tour buses a few seconds walk from the doorstep. There is a king sized bed in the bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed in the large living room. Apartment self contained within beautiful Georgian Townhouse. Restaurants and tea rooms right on your doorstep including Sally Lunn's 10 metres away! Although right in the heart of the city, it is a relatively quiet location. Basic price is for 2 people sharing the kingsized bed. Use of the sofa bed is extra.
Everything that this World Heritage City offers is right on your doorstep including the Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and not forgetting the fantastic Thermae Spa. All on a level walk.

Oldfield Park is a rather bohemian area, containing a mix of professionals, students and young families. The house is situated a 5 minute walk from the popular Moorland Road - containing bars, restaurants, coffee shops, take away, banks, local shops and two small supermarkets. Oldfield Park Train Station is a two minute walk providing rail links to Bath Spa in the City Centre (2 minutes) and Bristol Temple Meads (12 minutes) in the centre of Bristol. The City Centre is a fifteen minute flat walk (less than 5 minutes in a taxi). This apartment is just off one of the quirky 'squares' in the Bath. We are located just off Kingsmead Square which was built in 1733! Surprisingly however, it is shaped like a triangle... Not sure who came up with that name! Kingsmead Square features some wonderful cafe's and shops! And is just a stone's throw away from the main high street in Bath.
Something else we love about our location... because we are a few doors away from Kingsmead square, we never hear any noise from the bustling streets of Bath! A truly perfect location.

The house is “hen friendly” only tame hens are welcomed.
This house is an original Victorian property that has been recently renovated to a high modern standard. The property is set over three stories and has a large open plan kitchen/ social area as well as a Separate dining area. There is plenty of space for up to seven guests.There is a modern garden that is a wonderful sun trap and of course that off street Parking not a permit where you have to fight for a spot if you can even find one! You have parking for on car but if you have two cars you can block yourself in on the road so can accommodate two cars.
There house spans over three stories. The house is really versatile and works for both families and groups of freinds. The property is ideal for families or small groups of friends not fit for stag or hen weekends unless very TAME. The house is in a residential suburb and it's very important to us that we respect the neighbours and the local community, no anti- social or noise pollution will be tolerated.

Oldfield park is a busy suburb right on the edge on the city. It's home to moorland road which is full on independent cafes and restaurants as well as lots of shops if you want to stay local.
Less than a five minutes there is a local Sainsbury's/ co-op/ threshers.

Just outside the house a few minutes walk is a large park (sandpits) for children. Perfect for families.
We are also next to the two tunnels cycle path which links Bath perfect for cyclists/ walkers and runners
Please Ensure this is the right location for you we love it so we are sure you will too but we are not smack bang in the centre just on the outskirts of the city centre as stated under 1mile it's an easy walk and fantastic public transport. parking in Bath is very tricky and expensive so we would advise to park locally

A cosy and comfortable double bedroom situated in a newly decorated and well equipped house a mile and a half from the heart of Bath, and just up the hill from Moorland Road. This is a private downstairs bedroom within a five bedroom house. Situated on Coronation Avenue and very close to local buses, this is a perfect base for exploring Bath. There's loads of on street parking and a taxi to the centre usually costs about £6 - £8.
The property boasts a garden which all our guests are free to use, its a great spot for relaxing in the summer months.
Guests will have access to their own private bedroom, a living room, a modern kitchen, and two modern bathrooms.

Conveniently located studio apartment only a 5 minute walk from Bath Train Station. Also, it is a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bath. Parking is available (£15/24 hrs).
A beautifully presented garden studio, with its own access. There is a small kitchen with a microwave, a little oven and grill, kettle and toaster. But please note there is no hob.
There is a comfortable double bed, and also a shower room. Outside is a sun trap courtyard for alfresco dining.
All of Bath is within easy walking distance, and the studio is adjacent to the beautiful Kennet and Avon canal.

SuperhostA unique guest cottage located in a tranquil garden in Central Bath with private access. It's finished to a high spec and has both en-suite bathroom and well equipped kitchenette as well as high-speed broadband, high quality bed linen, desk and ample clothes storage. There is off street car parking included. We are based in central Bath with the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the city centre only a 10 minutes walk away. Please note that it is steps only access to the property.
I'm very flexible on check in and check out times when possible. If you'd like to park your car earlier than check in time so that you don't have to find parking in Bath do always ask. I'll try to accommodate wherever possible.
The Hideaway is always made up with two single beds with single bed linen. However, the beds can be clipped together by guests to form a double bed if required.
Please note that there is STEPS ONLY access from the driveway to the property itself. There are about 30 in total and there is a handrail.
There is a well stocked supermarket (Tesco Express) just one minute's walk from the property.

Light the log burner in the imposing Georgian fireplace, grab a book, and climb into the plush bed with its William Morris-inspired headboard. This snug studio combines a historic feel with high-end fabrics and a soothing, muted colour palette.
The Little Studio has just had a makeover! We have totally reburbished it with a new feel. There have been a few more additions since the professional photos were taken so some of the shots are mine! The bedroom area has a log burner in the big Georgian fireplace, with a curtain to draw for those cosy nights in .It is equipped to a 5* standard with great attention to detail.
Located within a 2 minute walk from Bath Spa train station, it is ideally situated for tourists and business people alike. Central Bath with all its attractions, shops and restaurants are all but a five minute walk from this little gem, you can even take a stroll into Bath along the canal.
On the doorstep in the neighbourhood of Widcombe are 2 super gastro pubs "The Ring of Bells" and the "White Hart". ( Famous for their Sunday Lunch ) Also, a small supermarket open 7 days a week until 10pm, a launderette, a pharmacy,a collection of independent shops and a two cafes.
Please note that the Little Studio is situated in central Bath and is within easy walking distance to all the sights and joys that Bath has to offer. As with all central locations in any city the benefits include everything on the "doorstep" eg. a late night supermarket plus two highly recommended gastro pubs and a couple of local cafés. The Widcombe Deli, run by Nikki and John, has great food, especially their Breakfasts. You can relax in there with the daily papers and magazines.

Widcombe is known as one of Bath's artisan neighbourhoods, steeped in local history. The area is very much part of central Bath, but manages to retain a friendly village vibe. Most of the city's sights are within 5 minutes' walk along the canal.

The Pulteney Apartment is a delightful spacious self-contained ground floor apartment with private courtyard garden in a quiet residential area 5 minutes level walk from the centre of Bath. Own private entrance. Parking permit for on-street parking included in the price.
The Pulteney Apartment offers living/dining area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen giving access to courtyard garden. The spacious bedroom has a luxurious comfortable king size bed (that can be made into two singles). The living/dining area has plenty of space to sit and relax, and to take meals. There is a TV with Freeview, DVD player, free wifi and a selection of dvd's, books and games.
The recently refurbished bathroom has roomy shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The well-equipped kitchen includes electric single oven, gas hob, microwave oven, fridge/mini freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The apartment, and courtyard garden, provides an ideal place to retreat and relax from the busy city centre. Yet being only 5 minutes level walk from the centre of Bath, it is particularly suitable for visitors wishing to enjoy all the cultural attractions of a World Heritage City, not to mention the great variety of restaurants, bars and shops, the Bath Rugby Ground, and city-centre parks and gardens. At the same time, the apartment is a short stroll from the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal and the open fields of the National Trust land, including the Bath Skyline Walk and Prior Park Gardens, which give magnificent views over the city. You will love the history of our apartment and the size of the rooms. In a building that is over 250 years old the apartment has retained its original features such as wooden panelling in the bedroom, open fires in all rooms (not useable) and shutters on the large Georgian windows. The rooms are beautifully light and spacious with high ceilings.
There is a shower-room with rain shower, as well as traditional shower head.
