“5 minutes of walk from home. You can visit the Castle also inside with or without guide. In ancient times, in case of danger of siege to the Vatican the popes took refuge in the castle through the passage called "Passetto". The "Passetto is about 800 meters long, you can see it right next to home and if you visit inside the Castle, you can walk on it.”

“Via del Corso is a main street in the historical centre of Rome. Today, the Corso is a popular place for the "passeggiata", the evening stroll for the populace to be seen and to see others. It is also an important shopping street for tourists and locals alike. Here you can find the big national and international stores, as well as small shops with great bargains. Without a shadow of doubt chic shopping in Rome is traditionally done in the Tridente neighbourhood. The street itself is remarkable for being absolutely straight in an area characterized by narrow meandering alleys and small piazzas. The length of the street is roughly 1.5 kilometres. The Corso runs in a generally north-south direc”

“Behind Palazzo Pitti there is the wonderful Boboli Gardens. The Medici first took care of the arrangement, creating the Italian garden model that became an example for many European courts. The vast green surface, subdivided in a regular way, constitutes a veritable open-air museum, populated by ancient and Renaissance statues, adorned with caves, first of all the famous one by Bernardo Buontalenti, and large fountains, such as that of Neptune and Ocean. The subsequent Lorena and Savoy dynasties further enriched the structure, extending the boundaries that line the ancient city walls up to Porta Romana. The visit to Boboli completes the visit to the Pitti Palace and allows you to fully grasp the spirit of court life and at the same time enjoy the experience of a garden that is always renewed while respecting its tradition.”

“Trastevere is undoubtedly the most colorful and fascinating, where you can breathe the authentic soul of the Romans. Busy in the evening, thanks to the locals of the Roman nightlife, and enchanting during the day for the unexpected glimpses that open up between the streets of Sanpietrini and the other. The neighborhood is full of typical bars and markets in its narrow alleys that unwind around the main square of Santa Maria in Trastevere. During the day it almost seems to be in a medieval village, among so many archaeological beauties, rather than in the city: artisan shops, small shops, markets, and many people who stop to chat in the street. In the evening the neighborhood is transformed, and Trastevere becomes one of the favorite destinations to spend the evenings. During a visit to Italy, tourists cannot fail to visit its capital and above all one of the symbolic districts of the Roman world. ”

“Alright, this is not the French Riviera anymore, it's about a 2 hour drive. But if your stay on the Riviera is long enough and you have time to go here, it's absolutely worth it. Basically, this place is a paradise for nature lovers. I go there several times every summer. Here's a non-exhaustive list of things that you can do here: 1) Kayak / Pedal boat in the Gorges du Verdon. This gorge is insanely beautiful but during peak summer, there are just way too many people and it degrades the experience. 2) Lavender fields. If you're thinking of particularly famous lavender field pictures, they were probably taken here, on the Plateau de Valensole, above the Sainte-Croix lake. But the period to see them starts from mid-June until mid-July. After mid-July, you won't see many of them. And none the rest of the year. 3) Moustiers-Sainte-Marie village. It's a very cute village which is on the list of the 150 most beautiful villages in France. 4) La route des crêtes, meaning the "Ridge road". This road is very impressive, and watch out if you're scared of heights! It's a loop that follows the cliffs of the Verdon gorge where there are world-renowned climbing spots. There are several breathtaking viewpoints along it.”
