Some of my favorite things about Hot Springs
Crystal Mines
There are many in the area, but I prefer Jimmy Coleman’s mine, aka Miller Mountain. There’s also Ron Coleman’s mine aka Coleman’s which also has a zip line.
HS National Park
Be sure to walk through the Fordyce Bathhouse. It’s a wonderful look at the history of Hot Springs. And there are loads of hiking trails throughout the park.
And of course some local flavor.
Ask Jenn, Sky or owners Adam and Briana about upcoming events or where to go and they will give you multiple suggestions. They are lovely people and among my closest friends. A great place to hang out, grab a coffee to go or shop for unique gifts too. Food choices are gluten free and they also carry local kombucha. They also host porch concerts and other things pop up throughout the year. Always fun and easy going.
Also. They carry Cavellini papers and gifts. Very hard to find in small towns, but here it is.

Brick City Slice House

Kollective Coffee & Tea

Kevin and Agnes keep local art displayed and host Gallery walk events and there’s a poetry reading every Wednesday evening. The longest running poetry event in Arkansas. Very nice and tasty.
Some of the best pizza out there. Period. The tree hugger is my personal favorite but many other choices as well. Also enjoy the gin joint downstairs and if you’re lucky Sylvia Stems will be crooning with her fantastic pipes. She sings a lot of the old stuff with just the right amount of modern moxie choices mixed in.

Grateful Head Pizza Oven and Beer Garden
100 Exchange StSome of the best pizza out there. Period. The tree hugger is my personal favorite but many other choices as well. Also enjoy the gin joint downstairs and if you’re lucky Sylvia Stems will be crooning with her fantastic pipes. She sings a lot of the old stuff with just the right amount of modern moxie choices mixed in.
Oh my goodness. So many choices, such good service, order online and pickup or have it delivered to the coolest dive bar you’ll ever visit. The Starlite Club next door. Wow. My favorite pizza here is the Greek. So perfect. Oh and did I mention there’s a radio station in the pizza pub? And a brewery. Can you beat that? No. I don’t think so. KUHS is a mix of what anyone is playing that day and it furnishes loads of variety. I’m pretty sure it’s stored on my under shelf radio in the kitchen. Just in case it’s 102.5. Check it out. Don’t like it? Check again later. It’s always changing. Zac and Cheryl have outdone themselves with the decor. This used to be a piano factory and Cheryl is an accordion player. Just try and see how many musical parts adorn this place.

Rose has made Bathhouse row truly special. Hurdling many federal requests requirements and recommendations she has accomplished opening the first and only brewery in a National Park. Wonderful space, the best spot in the park for a brew. Lovely selection of beers and a great menu to boot. Nice event and party space too. Highly recommended.

Tony offers brick oven fired New York style pizza right here in lil ole Hot Springs. Wonderful pizza. The crust is heavenly. I wish I had a pie right now. Trust me try it.
