The views from the Queen Mary at sunset are excellent. They have different tours of interest. Be sure to stoip and have a drink in the Observation Bar.

This is our favorite restaurant in Long Beach, and you can walk there! If you are adventurous, try the ceviche clasico or causa trio as your appetizer. If you want a safe bet, their beef empanadas are amazing. For your main course, if you like pasta try the tallarines verdes. If you want to play it safe and like beef, try the lomo saltado.

Airport Options
The ideal airport for arrival to Long Beach is our very own LGB. It was voted one of the best in the US and is about 16 minutes from the house, so it is worth paying a bit extra for time saved.
The next best option is SNA. It is smaller and more convenient than LAX, and about 30-45 minutes away.
LAX is your 3rd best option. It is about 40-60 minutes away depending on traffic.

Long Beach Transportation
Long Beach has a decent public trasportation system, but most places are close by and Lift and Uber are plentiful and reasonable, so I recommend those options.

Johnny's California Shuttle Service
We have used them a few times and they are great. Small company locally based. At LAX you have to take a shuttle to take a taxi or Lyft/Uber. If you order a shuttle ahead of time, they can pick you up in the center curb outside of baggage claim.
