We find it to be a bit 'posh' and expensive but it has a nice decor and its worth visiting for the contrast experience to e.g. The Nags Head, another local pub. Good for watching sport too.

It looks a bit daunting from the outside (black tinted windows dont help) but it's one of the few remaining original pubs where locals go for a drink. Worth checking out for the real taste of the city
