My favorite coffee shop nearby is Preserve and Gather at 358 NW 85th St. Their coffee is great and so are their food items. I really like the star anise latte, ham and jam biscuit, and homemade yogurt and granola. Please note that this isn’t the best place to get work done since they don’t have wifi.

They have outstanding baked goods. I love their ham and gruyere croissants and macarons. They were voted best neighborhood bakery by Seattle Magazine!

A good lunch spot in the area is Valhalla Sandwiches - my favorite is the Fidel Cashflow sandwich.

Great neighborhood French restaurant. Unpretentious and delicious food. Feels like a neighborhood place you'd find in France. Also a great restaurant if you're on your own - eat at the bar and chat with the friendly bartender.

The nicest restaurant in the Greenwood neighborhood. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. We love going during happy hour - they have a fantastic burger and small plates. Also, their cocktails are superb.
