The Headcorn Aerodrome is within a 25 min drive away with daily flights of the historical Spitfire! You can even book a flight yourself. Idea for anyone interested in aviation with a carpark running along side the runway (10 metres away) at a cost of £3 per day parking... Great value....

Bodiam Castle is only a 30 minute drive away, Bodiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle near Robertsbridge in East Sussex It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, with the permission of Richard II, ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion.
