Beautiful scenery and cape flora at this heritage site. You may even see a whale or some dolphins if you're lucky. Take a scenic drive through Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and historic Simons Town to get there.

I recommend walking up Platteklip Gorge, having some tee and scones at the cafe at the top of the mountain, enjoy the views, then taking the cable car down.
Remember the cable car is free on your birthday!
