A great walk along an old disused railway, through the eucalyptus forests near Mittagong. Can get muddy after heavy rains, so would suggest sturdy water-proof walking shoes. Take a snack or picnic to have at the look out overlooking the Kangaroo Valley.

Beautiful walking tracks, beautiful falls and views along the way. Start at the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre. Remember to take your credit card or some coins as you will need to pay for parking.

Even if you don't have a lot of time, it's worth the short walk down just to see the Falls, especially after heavy rains. They are magnificent and the look out is easy to find.
