Sightseeing

The famous Grade 1 Listed suspension bridge across the Thames was built in 1832 and is twinned with a much larger version in Budapest. If you’re driving, look out for the tight entry bollard system on the bridge (added to stop lorries making the crossing). If walking, the bridge is a great vantage point from where you can admire, the River Thames and All Saint’s Church.

Continue along the river and you will pass Temple Island with its ornamental folly, designed by eighteenth century architect James Wyatt.
