Sunnyside Pizza is definitely one of Fresno's little hidden gems. Perfect crust! Nice and crisp. Pizza doesn't fall apart when you try and get it out of the box. I would recommend this to anybody tired of the same old pizza places ran by chains.

If you like food and drinks, this is your place. O'Sullivan's is a terrific hang out spot for lunch, dinner, or just a night away. There drinks are reasonable. It has an interesting atmosphere where many people know each other. The ambiance is comfortable also.

Forestiere Underground Gardens is a subterranean journey to the Mediterranean. During the early 1900’s, over a 40 year period, Baldassare Forestiere sculpted a fantastic underground retreat for himself stretching out over 10 acres but deep underground.
There is an abundance of stonework and building techniques patterned after the ancient catacombs as well as a multilevel aquarium and so much more at this state registered landmark. (PlayFresno.org)

CA-99 runs along the west side of the city, becoming semi-rural before exiting Fresno County on the northwest side of Fresno. CA-41 runs down the middle of the city. Until the late 1990s and early 2000s these were the only freeways in Fresno, but a surge in growth has spurred the development of the CA-180 and CA-168 freeways.
In 2011, Fresno became the first town or city in the Central Valley to earn a Bronze Medal Designation from the League of American Bicyclists, recognizing Fresno as a bicycle friendly community. The city is in the process of further expanding its bike lanes in an effort to improve bike access. (Wikipedia).
