Taking a walk from the apartment to the Reichstag is quite nice. The Brandenburg Gate is also around the corner.

Taking a walk from the apartment to Hackescher Hof along the Spree (river) is very nice. Lots to explore in this area (mostly small shops and architecture). Lots of tourists, though.
