Top award winning restaurants: Pujol, Quintonil, Biko
There are 3 neighborhoods very close to the apartment, and that’s where pretty much everything happens: Polanco (fancy), Roma (hipster) and Condesa (trendy).
POLANCO
Eat-
Mexican: Jacinta, Rosa Negra, Vasconcelos, Dulce Patria, Chapulín, Guzina Oaxaca
Others: Pubelly, Mochomos, Margaret, Kazu’s Kitchen, Lur, Público Comedor, Noso, Jaso, Frenchie.
Tacos: Farolito, our favorite, here you should ask for tacos al pastor and bistek con queso, La Surtidora this one is very nice because it has a fantastic bar to which you enter by the fridge door (we recommend you make a reservation), El Turix (cochinita tacos), El rey del suadero.
Something sweet: Gelatoscopio.
Something light & fresh: Agua y Sal Cebichería.
Japanese: Tori Tori in Temistocles St. We always recommend this one because the architecture is amazing, its very good for a drink too.
Breakfast: Maque (Mexican), Ivoire (French), Ojo de Agua (juices and very natural food), Eno, Peltre, Catamundi, Casa Portuguesa, Dulcinea, Guzina Oaxaca, Básico. If you are looking for a big brunch spread, try Rulfo, inside the Hyatt Hotel.
Comrade and Centralito are new and very trendy.
Drink-
Jules Basement, Livingroom Bar, Area bar, Escaparte, Bros Oyster Bar (Plaza Carso), La Lune.
Dance-
Dinsmoore, Republica, Joy Room, Jerome and Vanderbilt (fancy, better to dress well), pop and commercial electronic music.

Mexican: El Parnita (tacos), Páramo (opens at 7pm), Fonda Fina, Yuban, Angelopolitano.
Tacos: Los Parados, Taquería Frontera, Tacos Nena, Taquería Orinoco.
Others: Galanga Thai Kitchen, Casa Virginia, Máximo Bistrot, Kiin, La Docena, Soul La Roma, Husset, Lardo, Chinaloa, MOG, Sésame, Hotel Casa Awolly (for eating and drinks as well), Lorea, Alelí, Contramar, Sartoría, Pizza Féliz, El Roma Bistrot.
Something sweet: Rosetta Panadería, The Secret Donut Society, Bakers, W Repostería, Cachito Mío Tartas, Helados Cometa, Churrería El Moro, Chomp Chomp.
Breakfast: Motín, Belmondo, Alelí, Eno, Lalo!, Delirio and Panadería Rosetta (we also recommend you go to the one on Havre street (Colonia Juárez), and try to go in early to have breakfast, lines before 9:30 can be very long. In Juárez, it’s called Cafe Nin)
