There are bike stations all over town where you can rent standard or E-Bike. Rent a bike and ride one of 150 miles of trails (stay off the Road - Houston drivers are crazy). Love to ride Buffalo Bayou Park (great urban park)

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Largest rodeo in the world, trail riders ride into town on horse back for a parade.
You can just visit the livestock show and skip the rodeo if you don't have time. Incredible animals.
