At Montello Brewing Company we take pride in brewing beers that speak to the heritage of Montello and the surrounding area, first as a central span in the waterway transportation system that enabled exploration and commerce, and later as the home to the Wisconsin Granite Company, a business that was the economic engine of the town for nearly 100 years. Long before Montello (est. 1852) and the surrounding lakes became a summer and sporting playground, the Fox River played a significant role in the history of Wisconsin. The name "Montello" is a French derivative of "Mont et L'eau," meaning hill and water, and the central Wisconsin waterways were a longtime hub for transportation and commerce. In the late 1880’s the Wisconsin Granite Company opened operation in the town, and served as the economic engine for the region until it was shut down in 1976. Our beers pay homage to this rich history.

Big Sky Drive-In Theatre, one of the last drive-in theatres in Wisconsin, is a twin screen drive-in just east of Wisconsin Dells on Highway 16. Big Sky is a family-oriented theater that offers 2 full-sized outdoor screens playing double features of first run movies.

Canyon Creek Riding Stables are located in the heart of Wisconsin Dells, one of the state’s top tourist destinations. The stables are a short drive from all the hotels and resorts in the Dells. The stables has a petting zoo where you can feed and pet a variety of animals, including donkeys and goats. But you’ll want to get on the trails with a somewhat larger creature. The guided tour runs about an hour and takes you past a pond, over a bridge to ancient rock formations - it gives you a nice taste of the unique landscape that’s been drawing visitors to the Wisconsin Dells since the 1800s.

Located in the Driftless Region of southwestern Wisconsin near Spring Green, Taliesin is the name of Wright’s 37,000 square foot home as well as the estate that includes buildings from nearly every decade of Wright’s career from the 1890s to the 1950s. In 1976, Taliesin is designated as a National Historic Landmark and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
