4. Ayutthaya
45 minutes north of my house is the historical city of Ayutthaya! Must see place with ancient temples and ruins, a famous head in a tree, and more. Go there to any famous site, then pay a Tuktuk driver to take you to all the other famous sites. You can also hire bikes.
This can be a day trip. Go by van, taxi, boat, train. Not far away but well worth it.

Best if you have your own car. Hiking, waterfalls, cold at night, wildlife including elephants, gibbons, deer, macaques, porcupine, civets, hornbills and more.
