10 minutes away, over 30 different hiking trails. Has biking trails and over landing as well! Our favorite is red apple, to rock garden, to high rocks, then keep going straight, veer a little to the left, and a beautiful overlook of the valley!

Mount Emily Recreation Area
63571 Owsley Canyon Rd10 minutes away, over 30 different hiking trails. Has biking trails and over landing as well! Our favorite is red apple, to rock garden, to high rocks, then keep going straight, veer a little to the left, and a beautiful overlook of the valley!
A short 10 minute drive from the house- Morgan Lake has a mile hiking path, docks to swim, and is a non motorized boat lake. Kayaks might be available, ask us!

Where my Husband proposed- a beautiful overlook of the city of La Grande! Go up Deal Canyon Rd. Street park on the right towards the last set of houses. Continue to walk up gravel path until you see a trail and opening on your left. Go up the hill towards the left and follow the trail going left to go see the overlook
