Parks & Nature
The most beautiful waterfalls and nature! It's a whole day trip, around 3h drive from Split, but totally worth it. We recommend to go as early as possible to avoid the crowds and make sure to book in advance!

Beautiful nature with waterfalls, like Plitvice but smaller, only 1h drive from Split. This is more of a half-day tour, but you can include visiting Šibenik or Primošten which are both close.

This is where locals go for jogging, walking, bicycling and swimming. Beaches have shade, but they're mostly rocky. Prve vode beach is the closest and it's a pebble beach, while Bene is 1.5 km from the Marjan gates with sand in the sea and a restaurant. Other than that it's mostly rocks, but (we) the locals love them. ☺️

A beautiful beach under Marjan hill, a few minute ride from the center. You can take an Uber or a bus from Riva (in front of St. Frane church) or maybe even best option the city bikes as there's a bike station above the beach.

Food Scene
We're really trying to keep our guidebook up to date, especially the food section, as we know that's a huge part of the travelling experience and getting to know a new culture. Therefore, we only add places that have survived for a number of years and are consistent in maintaining the level of quality, but even so, please check them online yourselves, don't take only our word for it! 🙂
