Classic California burger chain. That is all they have, but they do it right. If you're from out of state and haven't been there, do go while you're in CA.

Lots of hiking trails, including to some waterfalls. Plus if you're here in the summer, it has amazing swimming beaches on the west side of the lake.

Privately owned caves. Kind of hokey tours but still beautiful inside, plus you get a mini-lake cruise on your way to the cave entrance.

About an hour away, Lassen is lovely... still uncrowded for a national park. Beautiful alpine hikes in the summer and snowshoeing/xcountry skiing in the winter.
