The oldest continually operating tavern in the state of Washington. If you are staying over on a Tuesday, they have $.75 tacos and the beer is inexpensive. Go for the atmosphere and a game of shuffle board.

Rossland is a ski town in the winter and a mountain biking town in the summer. It has the best grocery store; Ferarro's and many unique, fun shops. Definetly worth the trip. Go north from the cabin and go through the Waneta border crossing. You will go through Trail and then up the hill to Rossland. Come back through the Paterson border crossing and Northport for a loop.

Tony's has been the only grocery store in Northport for decades. It has a little bit of everything. They also own the Gallo Meat Market in Colville so the meat in the freezer case is almost all local.
