If you need to do a full grocery shop there is both a Woolworths and a Coles within 2.5 kms. However the IGA has everything you'd need to put together a meal.

There are so many other regular essentials within walking distance of the Blue Bungalow. No need to get in your car as these are just around the way - BWS, chemist, newsagent, post office, barber, hairdressers, Peddlar bike shop, thai massage, bakery. As well as the cafes and restaurants I’ve individually described there is also Vietnamese restaurant, fish and chips, noodles, Chinese, and I’m sure there are ones I have forgotten. Put your car away and live like a local. Enjoy the convenience.

Great little spot for breakfast or lunch along the Esplanade with a great view over the passage to the open ocean and Moreton Island. Evening meals on weekend nights and often on Sundays they have live music. You can take your dog here too.

The Powerboat Club has good club style meals and has great views across the Pumicestone Passage. It is walkable distance from the house (just over 950 metres) but if that’s too far for you to walk, call them to arrange for the courtesy bus to pick you up.
