Pawleys Island Hammocks originated here. The shops around are worth browsing through as well. Plus, Bisqit, one of my favorite restaurants is there. A playground is in the middle of the shops, which makes it a great spot for families as well.

Parks & Nature
One of the best birding destinations in North America, this park also boasts a beautiful beach, great hiking and bicycling trails, and plenty of wildlife. It's about six miles north of the house, right on the edge of Litchfield/Murrells Inlet.

Huntington Beach Állami Park
16148 Ocean HighwayOne of the best birding destinations in North America, this park also boasts a beautiful beach, great hiking and bicycling trails, and plenty of wildlife. It's about six miles north of the house, right on the edge of Litchfield/Murrells Inlet.
Drinks & Nightlife
Great local watering hole with live music most nights and quality food offerings as well. Easy to drive past it, so I recommend taking a taxi or uber, which is cheap since this place is only about a mile away.
