Cattle and agriculture are fundamental to Claresholm to this day, but the town has flourished into a thriving business and recreational centre as well. Its 3,758 citizens enjoy a myriad of great services and facilities, and are happy to welcome visitors from all over to the town’s many attractions.
History buffs will appreciate Claresholm’s connection to flight training. From 1941-45, the town was home to the Number 15 Service Flying Training School, where thousands of pilots who served the Commonwealth earned their wings. The Harvard Memorial

The Empress Theatre opened for business in 1912 and has been operating ever since. Live performances, live music and showing of new release movies. The building is very beautiful. All the seats are great.

Very interesting and historically informative. You go up to the top floor and explore the buffalo jump, then go back inside for a look at the history of the jump inside the museum. Interesting for kids as there are hands on activities as well as a short film about the jump. Great historic site.
