Lovely fresh food, lots of stalls with some great choice. I highly recommend the mushroom pate stand; get a pot, and some fresh crusty bread - it's amazing! You can sit in the grounds of Southwark Cathedral for lunch, or wander down to the river.

A really lovely family run Italian, with pizzas made from scratch and baked in the oven in the middle of the restaurant. I ea fairly often when family visit.

The food used to be better, I wouldn't really recommend it now. But it has a good selection of drinks served by friendly staff. It's outside area is lovely on sunny days

A new bar that's good for a few drinks in the evening, and only 5/10 minutes away from where my Airbnb is.

So close, you can walk or if you jump on the number 12 or 148 bus going towards Oxford Circus, you'll be here in 10/15 minutes. (Get off at stop 'St Thomas' Hospital').

The prettiest bridge I've ever seen! It has exhibits, and you can get tickets to go on the high walkways or visit the engine rooms.
I recommend getting the 35 or 40 bus to London Bridge station, getting off there and then walking along the river to the east. Tower Bridge will come into view.

The Sunday roasts here are amazing, they come out incredibly hot and are so tasty! Fantastically friendly staff too who can't do enough for you. Highly recommend.

A fab cafe which serves super fresh sandwiches, avocado toast, Acai bowls, juices, and great coffee. It's a new place that's already loved locally, and many famous faces have popped (Professor Green, ,Geri Halliwell, Mark Ronson etc)
Good value for money too.

I see these runners every Saturday morning. They start at nine and run 5k around the park which is mostly flat but with some small hilly bits. The volunteers are great, they keep it all very organised and are very encouraging to the runners. I swear I will join them one day!
