Food Scene

Trionfale market is considered the first corner market in Rome and with its 273 stalls is the biggest in town, and among the biggest ones in Italy and even in Europe. Open on Giulio Cesare avenue at the end of ‘800, for years it has been a transit spot for those going out of town or hunting and stopped with carriage or horses to refuel. At that time, it was countryside all around.

AndreWharper – March 2017: "Is more than a cheese shop, it’s a food lover’s paradise offering more than 400 cheeses from around the world and 300 cured meats from Italy and Spain. Founded in 1980, the shop is now run by Francesco Praticò and Stefano Lobina, who carry on the tradition of bringing to Rome the best selection of artisan cheeses, meats and hard-to-find products. It’s a joy to shop here"

Felice a Testaccio restaurant, born in 1936 thanks to Felice Trivelloni. A simple host that would become a legend inside and outside the walls of Rome. For him, the famous Italian actor Roberto Benigni, wrote a poem. Today, the popular restaurant Felice a Testaccio continues to be guided by the family Trivelloni, and is regarded in much of the world one of the best of the Capital. Changed much of its time with regard to the furniture, but not for the food, which has remained faithful to the tradition of tasty and original Roman cuisine. Following the Roman tradition, every day of the week corresponds to a traditional dish, prepared with fresh products of first class.
