It's a mile from the Cozy Cottage. They have great Prime Rib and their Perch Appetizer can be a meal. Ask to sit out on the patio, very pleasant and not so noisy.

The best! On the way back from Sleeping Bear! If you're there around 4PM, you can watch the cows eating their dinner.

It has spectacular views of Lake Michigan, great hiking trails. Be sure to stop into the Visitor's Center in Empire to buy your pass and chat with a Ranger. They have a really nice gift shoppe also.

I always encourage folks to spend some time at Interlochen Center for the Arts. A beautiful campus! In the summer, there is music everywhere. Stop at Bud's for a coffee or a sandwich ~ a fun, up north type restaurant, a mile from the campus.
