This is an excellent choice for brunch or dinner with a farm to table type of menu. Everything is excellent here and at a very reasonable price for the quality of meal you will have.

This is one of Ridgway's oldest and best restaurants. They serve Mexican style food with a unique twist unlike anything you have had before. Combined with the classic adobe building and warm, richly decorated interior make this one not to be missed, especially for date nights!

This is a cool and relatively new but welcome addition to Ridgway's competitive food scene. Excellent ingredients and chefs and a laid back atmosphere make this place a hit. Don't miss the Greek Goddess sandwich!

This is an undeniable landmark in Ridgway that has shown a lot of staying power over the decades. Themed after John Wayne, star of the movie True Grit which was filmed in and around Ridgway in the 1960's, this place has some character! I would stop in for a drink and maybe try the wings, but not much else! Be sure to watch the film True Grit first to fully appreciate the experience!

Easy walking distance from the house is Steps, the only reliable establishment open for a drink after 9pm in Ridgway! This place has everything you need; skilled bartenders, pool table, foosball, jukebox, dance floor and frequently they host live music.

Parks & Nature
This is a beautiful place to stretch your legs especially if you choose to walk the beautiful, paved river trail from town (at the end of Railroad St) out to the park. This is just under a mile walk one-way, otherwise you can drive there from highway 550 north of town to Riversage Dr. There are hiking trails laced through the adjacent sagebrush hills across the road from the eagle statue culminating in incredible views from the top of Boot Hill. Dennis was a famous actor (Gunsmoke) and longtime Ridgway resident who generously donated the land for the park to the town.
