This is a great place for breakfast with a local feel. The huevos rancheros are good! After breakfast you can stroll up the pier where fisherman sell fish and crab from their boats.

Great hiking trail for seeing the redwoods. Starts at the coast and goes all the way up to Skyline Blvd, if your adventurous. But you don't have to take it all the way up. It's nice to walk along the creek and experience the quiet of a redwood forest.

Venice Beach is just steps away from the house, north on the Coastal Trail.
